Going back to my spring archives....
"Wake Up!"
3-23-14
Wake up, the church cannot live
In the shadow of glory days gone by
We must live again when we agree to die
Wake up and be watchful
You have a reputation of being alive
But yet art dead
O, Lord provide today this daily bread
Wake up, arise
Pour the morning coffee
And be thou wise
Wake up and just be you
And cleave to all that is just and true
As even when you take it all out of contrast
The word here does not change
By our reality ordinary
And our fiction dark and strange
It used to be so easy
When I was in my ignorance
I woke up this morning
So therefore I am blessed
Go back to sleep
And dream of sweeter days to come
As he that sanctifies
And those being sanctified
Are as one
Wake up!
I Did It Again
3-23-14
We are the hands and the feet of Christ
As so our prayers will unbind his extremities
To do great things now here and today
In that I must adapt to narrower spaces and lines
And consider what I left behind
Of those sweet wines
Putting new wine into old wineskins
Wherein Christ calls us
To live in joy
And no more in fear
Telling us to pray on earth
As it is in heaven
By the eschatology of these latter times
Of higher hope
As so I do just this
To but manage and cope
As you are also the evangelist
In taking up the pen
Yeah, we are the hands and feet of Christ
As I say Praise the Lord
Yeah, I did it again....
Adrenalin
3-23-14
By the adrenalin of being omniscient
I stand outside of time
To talk face to face with the Holy Spirit
Quite efficient
Repeating my mantra
That it's getting better
According to God's love letter
Where we are conditioned to look at what is wrong
Instead of what is right
Where my agenda today
Is the gospel of Jesus
Reformed to as it is
And no more bullshit
This I cry out for
So that I can make sense of this malarkey
As in sanctification
We won't always be in comfort
Stepping outside of the box once again
To but test my faith
By the adrenalin of being omniscient
I come to give you life abundantly....
"Keep Them On"
3-23-14
A voice in my head says
For me to keep them on
Referring to my metal and grunge archives
That I have played since two hours before the dawn
They put these words to my mouth
Until again I'll be long gone
To return to the here and now
And mow again the lawn
I have come to give you life abundantly
Allowing the Spirit to write through me
Being pessimistic by nature
Given the choice to exercise today my joy
In that it's going to get better
If and when this is what I believe
By the still small voice
That says, "Keep them on"....
On Amos 3:15
3-24-14
Houses of ivory yet perish
Where mansions of gold stand fast
By their authenticity
The comer doth cherish
As he whom builds the house
Has more honor than the house
That stands on its own
Being one to keep the beat
Drumming upon my collar bone
Given another beautiful day
Quite content to stay in and bask in the sunlight
Through my window facing east
Yet to visit my own transgressions
Having at home my own kind of feast
Where the horns of the altar are cut off
As they fall to the ground
As so I wish you well on your way
And I'll see you around....
On First Samuel 15:3
3-24-14
We are not to use liberty
For the occasion of the flesh
Yet for us such is needful
While the coffee is hot and fresh
By my recollections of today
I return to the here and now
That doth serve as the narrow way
Staying home to watch the sunshine
Given much to say
Being one to keep the words of the Lord
Right before my eyes
Going now to attack the Amalekites
Fitted with breastplate and shield
By the taste of egg whites
Blessed in abundance
Amongst the next several peaceful nights
Yet to have another dream
Of me, the poet that still writes...
Amelek
3-24-14
I will be today the intercessor
Of those at the party
That I choose to be absent from
Being one to yet disperse to finches
My pumpernickel bread crumb
Declining from the proposition
Following the beat of my own drum
Taking my Amalekites alive
Being as one to yet prevail and survive
Destroying my giants with the edge of the sword
To go to sleep and again yet revive
I will be today the intercessor
Where the Kenites have departed
Saying blessings upon their slices sweet and of five
This is that which I will do my part
To pray for them to serve as my work of art....

carry-out
Carry-Out
1-4-14
Being as the Greek
Compelled to be circumcised
I remember working at the fast food restaurant
To serve a carry-out value meal supersized
I had a great time there
And I count this day job as my possession prized
Where the bible today in my eyes is very cool
In believing to be still as the fool
By which Titus that is with me
Will practice the golden rule
After fourteen years
Returning to all that is written here
For my learning...
On Galatians 2:6
1-4-14
We are not to offer too much
Yet God, yeah we cannot outgive
As it is blessed as well to receive
Given today the substance on which I live
And at the chime of noon it's not too late nor too soon
With the sunshine at my back
According to what I already have and don't lack
Rocking onto the book of Galatians
By which God shows no favoritism
Unto the rock star
By all poetic impartiality
Being not a respecter of persons
Where those whom seem to be something
Make no difference to me....
Seven More Miles To Philadelphia
1-4-14
Paul doth withstand Peter in Antioch
Where one's house again is built upon a rock
Where they go to the circumcised
And we to the Gentiles
Where a missionary has his desire
To go yet seven more miles
This was my journey
Back in the days of my rebellious nature
To go against the grain
According to all loneliness and pain
Where dying and crying was my great gain
Withstanding one another to each other's faces
While taking each others' places
Wherein both sides to this story
Are right and true...
Learning How To Sing
1-4-14
O, where did singing come into play
On the stage of all creation
This is my deep inquiry
That I came up with while on vacation
Where I brought around the poetry
In all bliss and elation
To eat and drink with the Gentiles and the Jews
In the days where I didn't care much for the evening news
O, where did singing come into play
And how was such invented
By one's margin and paragraph hyphenated and indented
Of which the artist would change his mind
In that he had repented....
I won't Quit
1-4-14
The Jew doth play the hypocrite
Where the bible is my habit
I choose never to quit
Carried away with all dissimulation
That is not necessarily one's bullshit
Being not completely straightforward
About all there is to say about it
Becoming just as them to win them over
Where even the believing still somewhat doubt it
This is what today I do
And if this is all I do
Then indeed I do well....
Provisions
1-4-14
By fajita scoops and corn chips
I want to add an inch to mine own hips
Being as skinny as a rail
Being as God's love that doth never fail
Quoting rock artists
And hitting with the hammer
Right upon the nail
Refined while wined and dined
In dreams I get in the boat and set sail
On the south side of my love seat
Will be my feeding frenzy on God's tab
And the government's treat
By my Recces Pieces and pistachios
I am glad to know
That our good Lord knows....

1-4-14
In my fascinating microtrauma
I pipe in the music of sweet nostalgia of this drama
Favored by he who writes today his heart
A highroad out from here
Where I make a new start
By a dust of smokescreen
By one's cyme and cluster
Where we declare again, O, thou art
By the floral stems of this available beauty
My testimony here will be as my poetic duty....
On Galatians 1:16, 17
1-4-14
Conferring not immediately with flesh and blood
Referring to the promise of our rainbow
That doth follow the flood
He said that he would not destroy
The world this way again
Which is why I'm still here with tablet and pen
Where even the ego becomes as insecure
In that it always wants much more
Going again into Arabia
Returning again to my Damascus
To find what I was looking for....
Batter
1-4-14
Leaning upon the rock fifteen days
Going back up there to see Peter
Making cookies for the holidays
By one's brazen spoon
And silver egg beater
Leaning upon the rock
And its sweetness adamant and cold
As so before my time
I feel as if I'm getting old
Praying that what I do will have its significance
Plowing through the day by utterances brave and bold
After three years going back up into my Jerusalem
Where another mystery doth yet unfold...
Scratching The Surface
1-4-14
By external observances
One's religion is vain
When not put into practice
Which is why today I pray for you
By way of pen inexpensive and blue
By external observances
Giving this verse added and additional syllables
To express what I mean to say
Concerning the things I write unto you
Indeed before God
I do not lie
But indeed I do
When too hard, O how I try....
My Sweet Delusion
1-4-14
This particular delusional poet
Thinks he is apostle Paul
Not a bad thing to believing
While standing bold and tall
Wherein the world today is beautiful
In that I intercede for them all
Where this particular schizophrenic prophet
Thinks that he is as Solomon
Clad with this array of glory
Like the city in a field
Coated with a sheet of ice
Where he whom brings around the word
Is happy to pay the price....

philosophy
Today's Philosophy
1-4-14
A world of white is underway
I want to be with you night and day
So I tell my God by which I find my way
Thawing out according to what it all can be about
Where poets sigh o, come what may
According to philosophers of this reinassance
Talking about the problems that the monarchs are to face
In staying in power
By which I partake in strong coffee
For one more hour
A world of white is underway
And I will be with you again...
Good Sound
1-4-14
Intelligent and cruel
Is the prince with all naysayers
To yet continue
Talking about the passion today
Of the hours since
Where we are not given
The spirit of the world
Where He whom in us is greater
Where I still like to be called J.J. Creator
By the sound of a hundred electric guitars
So is this sound by the vein of a clear night sky and her stars
Giving ear and audience to that which can be heard and seen
Intelligent and cruel
By those hues of blue and green...
On Ezekiel 30:7
1-4-14
In the midst all cities are wasted
According to the foundation laid again
Where in dreams the wine again is tasted
Comparing this moment in time to now and today
I can't close my eyes and make it go away
And they will know that indeed I am
By the carving of another resurrection ham
Where all of her helpers doth sing again
And this is the matter for material
Written by this pen
And tonight, we can be as one....
I'll Have Another One
1-4-14
When it is true that we are immuned
Desensitized by a guitar again finely tuned
Pouring another cup of coffee
Over intercessions for whom is in the hall
While indiscriminately I light up another Pall Mall
When in that day our messengers go forth
So I can go west
And be the one to watch
And I face north
And behold, yeah I am with thee...
Personal Record
1-4-14
Breathing victory into the moment
I surrender to the joy that I can choose
Being as one to win even when I lose
Where the careless Ethiopians are afraid
As another personal record will be made
By the writings of my yesterday
Where I would bask in the shade
Raising my right hand into the air
O, behold I am not against you
Who can be when God is for us....
My 40
1-4-14
Forty years it will not be inhabited
Where no foot of man nor beast doth pass through the land
Forty years I will wander
Going around in circles
For the cause of experience
Where what I have found today
Is out of this world
Taking shelter from the poison rain
To serve as the medicine
That quenches all astounding effects
That come to us by the word and name
Still building and burning down love
It's all I can do...

crucible
Crucible
1-4-14
My apartment councellor
Told me to call him if I needed anything
As if he knew
That I would today know my troubles
As I replace the battery in my cassette player
For the cause of sound
In my solitude and privacy invaded
Not by those whom stand without
In the crucible of today's trials
I choose to exercise the conscious choice of smiles
In spite of the brass that molts into these molds
For the cause of my refinement....
Your Eyes Make A Circle
1-4-14
Playing U2's greatest hits
Today a wonderful case of my coffee shits
Being one to justify a language base and vile
To know how expletives can serve as our new poetic style
O, your eyes make a circle
And your tongue will draw a square
Where I will love myself
In caressing my facial hair
Where so I will follow
So that I might lead
Getting today all that I want and need
Playing U2's greatest hits.....
Thaw
1-4-14
Ducks and teals
Befriend all penguins and seals
In a cold place where all eskimo finds out how it feels
To stand trembling
By one's vision of eyes and wheels
Taking on again the meat of the word
To see how by no means such is absurd
Where glaciers disappear into the sea
As with pick axes we break the ice
Bringing relief to our frostbite
That chooses to be both naughty and nice
In that I am given the gift
Of the hardness of coal
Where the music will serve as food for my soul....
Theology 101
1-4-14
Starting over in the Lamentations of Jeremiah
In a dream of reporting to theology 101
Where I can say that actually I'm having fun
Proud today to have the pseudonym of the sun
Being one to be but blunt
To pardon not the pun
O, how doth the city sit solitary
Where the people abide right under the gun
Starting over in the Lamentations of Jeremiah
O, how hath she become a widow
Great amongst these nations
To which in dreams we yet travel...
On Lamentations 1:2
1-4-14
She weepeth sore in the night
Her tears are on her cheeks
Her blood doth cry straight from the ground
Where I keep my Christmas tree up for two more weeks
By mine devotion
Like a frozen ocean
In my personal polar caps
Where it all begins again
Flowing into the cold and deep
Which is where I apply the pen
Going into captivity because of affliction
Becoming again as tributary to bondage and addiction
Not giving it up quite yet
Lighting up again
She weepeth sore in the night
Because of the thing that I still do...
Getting Dirty
1-4-14
Getting dirty
In chapter thirty
To be washed clean
In what this mystery can mean
Taking a deep drag and holding it in
To see that when I surrender
I indeed am one to win
As thus saith the Lord
Howl ye, woe worth the day
By this Sabbath broken
In the things I have to say
Getting dirty in chapter thirty
Where it is the time even for the heathen
In that everyone will find their way...
Bedtime Snack
1-4-14
The slain doth fall in Egypt
To take away her multitude
Where I sit down at my table
To thank God for all of my food
Eating much here before bedtime
On those sweet nightmares crass and crude
Where the sword doth come upon Egypt
From which the people come on out
Where her foundations are to be broken down
To serve what this is all about....
History Lesson
1-4-14
O, is there pride in the name of love
O, can there be a boasting that cometh from above
Where one man comes here to justify
Such a thorn to but penetrate one's gardening glove
Where one man doth yet resist
As such a music lover will get his gist
Yet to grasp what he cannot see
By the asp that wants to bite me
By this late morning of January four
I look around the next corner
To find yet more...

antiparticle
going back to bringing in the new year of 2014...
Antiparticle
1-4-14
Letting fly the seed
All over this page
Of whom it is said
That in Isaac shall thy seed be called
Under clear and azure skies
And below zero temperatures
That from which I know this shelter
Letting fly this blue ink
Wherein it is hard work
Just to think by the antiparticle
Identical in magnitude
I let it fly
And thank God for my food
Of one's opposite sign
We can see it
By one's eyes
That to the west wall so are glued
Letting fly the seed tonight...
Trimerous
1-4-14
I was the man caught on a barbed wire fence
In that I tried to understand
And to make sense
Keeping my right hand
Come the dark of night in suspense
By trimerous flowers and spiritual powers
With pen in hand
I pass these post new year's day magic hours
In the name of love today
I seek the things within and above
To the sound of Bono and Bruce
For the needles of the fir and the spruce
Keeping my Christmas tree up
For at least another week
Seeing that all I know to do
Is to yet seek...
Whorl
1-4-14
By whorls in groups of three
I can see deep within
Wherein abides the real me
By the trumpet section of the background
That I can almost see
By anthropods of three segments
God knows they got to me
But I'm still free
By my salvation that comes with the blues
The bible is still where I get the news
Where the angel of Harlem makes his appearance
And singing will be what today I choose
By whorls in groups of three
I know this beauty
In what I cannot see....
Pound Of Sugar
1-4-14
O, love rescue me
Bono said this
Through my earphones
Accounted in that God was able to raise him up
As once more I refill my coffee cup
From whence he was received in a figure
As so remains in storage another pound of sugar
Just enough to get me through the week
O, love rescue me
In that blessed are the meek
Blessed according to things yet to come
Judged by all cessation of my Coke and rum
As the wedding feast
Where put to silence was the drum....
Depository
1-4-14
Delicacies in depositories
I light up another cigarette
In no regard to quit any time soon
In that retrieved is this sacred taste
By the light of one's new moon
Out of sight and out of mind
Like a glyph in its form
Of this unknown rune
By delicacies and depositories
A man sees fit to stick it in
For such safekeeping
By which we lose
Yet still can yet win
On a dream of cruising down route sixty-six
Given two free solid days to prophesy
As I get my fix....
Starting Fresh
1-4-14
Belief goes on and on
In what we cannot see
In that I learn to love
Even the weaknesses and scruples
Within these boundaries of the real me
Crossing the northern border
Where planted is another your evergreen tree
Belief goes on and on
Like the music we justify and condone
As so my ashtray is once again empty
And today I need not stand alone
In that I believe in love
Belief goes on and on
According to what lies within and above...
Indiscriminate
1-4-14
Early morning January four
The music is my harlot
And the poetry is my whore
By the sound of Bono and Bruce
I dedicate the color green
To my pine, fir and spruce
O, smoke them if you have them
And of such I know not lack
As so like the devil I tear into another fresh pack
Yet to worship while leaning upon this wooden staff
Of early morning January four
When I was yet a-dying
I bless my sons
That I have led to the faith
By one word spoken in truth
By my faith in you...
Giving Twenty
1-4-14
Some still believe
That our passions are our thieves
As still to be blown away Are post autumnal leaves
According to what is given freely
By one's own freewill
Letting it all slip through my fingertips
To yet relinquish a twenty dollar bill
To come home to see heaven's windows open up
That I might see a rainbow
According to the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
Seen as a proper and goodly child
In taking up one's golden staff and stave
So that we might carry this ark
Across the dry land
And claim the promise made to our fathers...
Clad
1-4-14
Clad in kimonos and in robes
As the sound of violins penetrate my earlobes
Dressed today in flannel
And still yet to knock back another carton of vitamin D milk
As something my cat does recognize
Playing again U2's greatest hits
Like the words of the wise
By this continuity of one's differing succession
To see that joy can penetrate
All bowels of my depression
Clad in kimonos and gowns
To express my latest adjectives
Like they were nouns
Clad and glad
Even when going mad...
Antiparticle
1-4-14
Letting fly the seed
All over this page
Of whom it is said
That in Isaac shall thy seed be called
Under clear and azure skies
And below zero temperatures
That from which I know this shelter
Letting fly this blue ink
Wherein it is hard work
Just to think by the antiparticle
Identical in magnitude
I let it fly
And thank God for my food
Of one's opposite sign
We can see it
By one's eyes
That to the west wall so are glued
Letting fly the seed tonight...
Trimerous
1-4-14
I was the man caught on a barbed wire fence
In that I tried to understand
And to make sense
Keeping my right hand
Come the dark of night in suspense
By trimerous flowers and spiritual powers
With pen in hand
I pass these post new year's day magic hours
In the name of love today
I seek the things within and above
To the sound of Bono and Bruce
For the needles of the fir and the spruce
Keeping my Christmas tree up
For at least another week
Seeing that all I know to do
Is to yet seek...
Whorl
1-4-14
By whorls in groups of three
I can see deep within
Wherein abides the real me
By the trumpet section of the background
That I can almost see
By anthropods of three segments
God knows they got to me
But I'm still free
By my salvation that comes with the blues
The bible is still where I get the news
Where the angel of Harlem makes his appearance
And singing will be what today I choose
By whorls in groups of three
I know this beauty
In what I cannot see....

union
In Union
6-3-14
O, that you should be married unto another
O, that you should step aside
And let in your big brother
O, that the flames that rage
The blanket doth yet quell and smother
I can't make it without you
Becoming as read to the law by his body
Having no further use for life itself
According to the church that indeed is still right here
No, we have not been raptured out
No matter how much of this we might fear
Therefore those in union have no condemnation
And if this is all I get from the message
Then I do well....
Met
6-3-14
Raised from the dead
To but bring forth fruits unto God for repentance
I will walk and smile again
And not live under this here sentence
By victory, by authority and by reward
Of one baptism, one faith and one Lord
So that the righteous requirement is already met
Fulfilled in us that walk by the way
By which I can forgive and forget
O, so when we were in the flesh
We still have want for another cigarette....
My N.W.T.
6-3-14
Jehovah's witnesses cross my path
For a higher purpose and special reason
O, I wish them well on their way
And for a fruitful season
In rewards to Ephraim called as the fruitful
According to this illustration
In contrast by our Assyria
As a powerful nation of our Mesopotamia
In our will to make it last
Taking those people captive again
But as one to leave behind the past
The New World Translation is not so different
By seeds dispersed
And by shadows yet cast...
I Choose To Smile
6-3-14
He will come to us like the rain
By corrupt sense of pleasure and good pain
He will pull through for me
Even when it's insane
According to the Lord of the opening of our Baal Peor
And coming to an understanding
Of what it all can be for
Breaking up your fallow ground
Making peace where there is war
If you see me
We yet stand at every door
If you see me
According to the blood that hits the flood
This is my gift to be my trial
Planting my hemlock
Right next to such a burning bush
Of which I will choose to smile....
Given
6-3-14
Given to know beauty
Today I behold
As all that I can see will serve
As my silver and gold
I just want to hear your rhythm
And the mysteries that unfold
Planting my bush in the furrows of a fertile field
Taking up the helmet and breastplate and the shield
Ready to meet the Spirit there
To which soon once more I will yet yield
By the rains that teach us this righteousness
And our weapons we yet wield
Given to know all beauty today
My page is torn
Yet still quite justified
Where not all things are expedient
And not according to one's flesh in pride
Given to know all beauty today
Still walking in the old nature
But at least I went along for the ride...
An Help
6-3-14
Breaking out a fresh whole wheat cracker
To hold me over until then
By intention, attention and no tension
In the where and when
Yet to write a letter to my higher power
Of pages threescore and ten
And two times this I must say
By the grace of a humble yet nimble pen
By which there are two great days in a person's life
The day he is born
And the day he discovers why
Much like my own name
And what it all can mean
Where it is all too beautiful
In deeper hues of blue and green
As in like manner
The Spirit joins in
with help for our weakness....
Raise The Roof
6-3-14
Getting ready for a gift or two
In all that I might come to see
In you as to myself I will be true
Fading from black ink back into blue
Just to prove that indeed I am able
Now that I paid my rent and cable
Where my purpose is the roof of my home
For happiness as my daily calling
As fantasy, farce and fable
O, your purpose is the roof of your home
For happiness
Asking the question
O, what is mine
As so the answer would be to me
O, everything
Yet to shine my light
In all I do and say
Losing a tooth one year ago
But to the purpose of finding my way...
Ode To Gomer
6-3-14
My new bible so is written in fine print
Reading the book of Romans
First according to instinct and predisposition
Sent out again soon on another grocery mission
Out here searching for my piece of the cross
Quoting Stipe, Bono, Van the man and the Boss
Yes, all things happen for a reason
In that all that I gain in my loss
Like golden sunlight shining to a forest floor
The Lord hath called us
To find our whore
All things happen for a reason...
