Don't Want To Miss Out
2-14-19
The devil wants my pages to burn our in due season
Don't give him a reason for visions and dreams
And optimism for pessimism
God knows I don't want to miss out this weekend
For at daybreak I'll be up and at it again
For that which we have spoken of
There remains a higher love stored and slain by a temporary setback
Anticipation keeps me in the present tense
Into the wilderness by the Red Sea
Yea, even in my dream of pistachio ice cream
I'll just have to see how it goes in that Jesus knows
Therefore I would that you should know of marvelous things.....
Do Such Well (In Your Tree)
2-14-19
As we seek our own lives
By spoons, forks and knives as promised
I shall not make a full account as we depart into the wilderness to sacrifice
Taking nothing with us but a bible and pen and pad and books
So much for nothing at all and that's something
Back at the food bank with good Samaritans to thank
In ones divine commitment where we need a backup plan or two or three
As to do such well in our tree obedient to the Word
But not every word that He knows we will but overlook
For the land of His inheritance
We need to know but my horizons are still quite hazy
And it's crazy in family and provisions.....
O, Receive The Office (Of Opportunity)
2-14-19
Telling us about Tull and the flute that rocks
Needing your assistance in Lemuel and stiffneckedness of Laman
O, receive the office of your own Priesthood in all that you do with what you are given
In foundations of repentance waiting there to turn and turn in all we have to learn
Magic seductive as the law makes us as such so let us keep in touch
Reminding ourselves that God knows the best for me this weekend consecrated forevermore
Set apart for a task I call not a chore having no power over thy seed
Save we should rebel against ourselves with ones whirling in minds wanting.....
Durst Not Utter Naysayings
2-14-19
River emptied and tributaries made full to their brim
O, durst not utter naysayings never to give up this true romance
For the mysteries of what we call life itself
Insomuch as thou shalt keep all commandments
But Alas, how
Abba, Father ah, God
Have you decided if it is enchanted
Up to now our substance cautious with that machete
Steve, where will we go and play Adam and Eve
Behold thy brothers murmur
and I have not required it of any of us
Don't miss the bus
It is later than you think
For faithful stories and now behold good hunger.....
