make room

Make Room
9-28-14

Our first law states that we are all as one
And the second namely of such survival
Come the service of the sons of Kohath
And such stirring up of revival
I turn on my air conditioner
For the last time come Indian Summer
And autumn its rival
Come the drastic change
Of the lighting in this room
So all that open the matrix
And to all yet in the womb
I am glad that I had scattered seeds today
And I will take it with me the tomb
O, seek out your Joseph Campbell
And in thine hearts make room....

Snapshot
9-28-14

The fat cats took it literally
Ignorant of the illustration at hand
As we inherit peace
That transcends all that we can understand
As cool air comes through my east wall
With blessings as numerous as the grains of sand
By the shore of shifting tides
Come the snapshot in the family album
Abundance is in today my left hand
To boldly impose this type
My fruit again is ripe
And my tunafish is canned
According to what my God hath planned
As the fat cats still take it literally.....

Breaking My Fast On Whole Wheat
9-28-14

Breaking my fast today on whole wheat
So I can make today the Lord's day last
And kick my Sunday shoes off my feet
So I can leave behind the day
The Indian summer's final wave of heat
I put into practice a moment of silence
To renounce all of such hate and its violence
Breaking my fast later on my barbeque chicken wings
To take away the ashes from the altar
Where the Herald Angel sings
To spread a purple cloth over my table
To which provisions a poor man yet brings....

getting there

Getting There
9-28-14

O, for most, joy is rare
As one that claims to be afraid to care
I savor the pain in the pulling of a nose hair
Just to realize it for what it is
In that I'm getting there
O, for most this joy is scarce
So may us treasure every moment of peace of mind
Using my zygomaticus major
To but show them who I am
O, be as one to grin and bear it
I'm getting there...

Ode To Abidan
9-28-14

Praying for this treasure in earthly vessels
With myself I yet strive
And with God I wrestle
And I know that I cannot win
In that I'm still living in sin
Wandering in the wilderness
Back to my recycling bin
From Benjamin
Abidan, the son of Gideon
There is much loot to but uncover
In that I find it here and there
Praying for this treasure
In my earthly vessel....

Today's Self-Study
9-28-14

Of joy, gratitude and serenity
Of hope, of pride
Of amusement and inspiration
Awe and of love
We seek this peace
That transcends all understanding
From within, beyond and above
Come envy that serves as its evil twin
And a still small voice that whispers
Such is a battle I will but win
As so the increase of positivity begins
In self-study and another trip to the recycling bin
And I must say that this morning I have found it....

Side Two First
9-28-14

Playing The Wall side two first
As a means to quench today
My fleshly and spiritual thirst
Finding the best amongst the worst
Not well read nor well versed
This is my chazown
Check me out later
I will not need to walk alone
As the crocodile alongside the alligator
As so I play The Wall side one last
As so the cards are played and the die is cast
And I am back home
Back at it O, at last
This is my chazown
In that I need not walk alone
In putting behind me my dark past
Playing the Wall in its entirety
In conducting my fast....

trisected

Trisected
4-28-14

As trisected is segment BC
There is so much for me in it today
In longitudinal leisure
The study is my earthly pleasure
Writing my latest entry
That will serve as my treasure
O, what do you cherish
So asks a distant brother I lost track of
As One to but be the hypotenuse
As for this mathematics
I come to know God's love
As trisected is segment BC
May we make our mark upon another
Because to do such we are set free
Trisected...

Lost Sheep
4-28-14

Come supplementary angles oblique
Today knowledge as for hidden treasures
I will but seek
As it is written
Blessed are the meek
Wherein I write this rhyme in the dark
To reach again my valley and its peak
Come my latest entry
I tend to but reek
Helpless biding my time in the grass
I am as the lost sheep that doth delve deep
Come complimentary angles trisected
I find my way by touch alone
Even when I cannot see it
In standing on my own....

emptiers

Emptiers
2-16-16

O, is possessiveness a good thing
To those who love someone unfeigning
But right here in mercy for Carmel
A flower of Loran
O, languish humble and afflicted
Dad says keep yourself busy today
The Lord is good with an overwhelming flood
Never mind pulling up your hood
Only out for two minutes
For my blackbird claw
And rungs for lungs
The Lord revenges and is furious
Because he loves us
Affliction won't rise up a second time
There is one that come out of thee
To plan out goodness come and gone
Just to silence on
See you around the edge
O, turn away
And know gold light
It keeps you....

Bonds In Sunder
2-16-16

They cannot enforce it
To those with crazy plans
Commandment:
No more of the zone be sown
Out of the house of thy gods
Cut out graven images all along the floodline
Years go down like centuries
Just a mile outside of town
Declare his deeds among us
What will life me up from the gates of death
For weeds twisted
Fortify thy power mightily
To burst their bonds in sunder for the needy
Shall not always be forgotten
I can't see it anymore
Being a mile from the back door
You have ordained strength
My defense is of God
Selah...

imploring

Imploring
2-16-16

Make your way straight before my face
A vital position
Yes, we have in God's grace
Love hopeth all things
Remember way back when
Persuasion takes a lot of energy
Cast them out in the multitude of their iniquity
Hear me when I call
I need a quick fix
It's getting older and older
And I'm getting bolder
My defense is of God
My shield is upon that which will always stand fast
Against the elements
Beside myself for the cause of conditions
You sit on the throne to judge me
And a fix would be nice
Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings
I try it again
O, have not ill will....

Probe (The Lord Is Good)
2-16-16

Our harvest and probe
Keeping time with everyone
It looks like we won't make it out today
I have this vital position on a high horse
You have to give me credit for trying
Love will solve every enigma
We can but perceive a voice at work
Yes, our Mahum
These are words we use to say hello
For the burden of Nineveh
As bones crack and curtains drag
Five will tell
O, rebuke the sea for you and me
Bashan languishes
And I don't know how you can stand on a sheet of ice
Then power to you
That you might silence the avenger
Following Masoretic text
O, what comes next....

Power To You
2-16-16

Calling across the water but with silence
Good gifts for our daughter
And no more violence
Even their memory has perished
I pray that I won't get bitter or sour
The Lord is good
A stronghold in a day of trouble
I suppose we will talk about this
Not at all to acquit the wicked
Having His way in the whirlwind
God bless brother John
There I said it
To the tune of "Death To The Son"
O, rebuke the sea and dry up the rivers
Where Jesus still saves and delivers
In the book of vision of Nahum, our Elkoshite
Time will wait for you
I will praise you with my whole heart
O, power to you....

love contains

Love Contains
2-16-16

By the centerpiece of ministry
Another stalemate, another stymie
Another deadlock
This world seems like a new place
For imaginary authors
A Turnip prize among us
A Shalam is spoiled in Beth-Arbel
In the day of battle
When we speak of beauty
We can stand the test
It's nice that they shovel us out
According to a Christian buddy
Baby, I'm sick of love with you
Verbum and verbose
We survived it
Like a vessel containing water
Love contains it....

Harbor Of Trust
2-16-16

Love focusses on something good
Paying his compliments
Rejoicing of love
Rejoices in the truth
Come the centerpiece of ministry
Not condescending
Nearness is likeness
As charity contains itself
For reassurance
Love is a harbor of trust
Let all of those who Love your name
Be joyful in You
I'm going to stand here and endure
An open tomb, a yawning gulf
Yet in the womb
You have a vital position
Needing not trade convictions for such a love
That ripens like fruit
Lead me, O Lord in your righteousness
I drench my neck with tears of gratitude...

effendi

Effendi
2-16-16

For Nehiloth and Sheminith
By superior weight or force dominate
We crush and press it down
O, play it slow in hopes that someone will dig us out
Effluent, eight on the dot
Soon I make the call
It is my desire that everyone will come around to it
Yes, effendi educated and respected
Our man of the near East
As we tear into the beast
Sow to yourselves in righteousness
And reap in mercy
Bloodthirsty and deceitful
Ephraim is an heifer that is taught to bleat
Where I take my seat
O, break up your fallow ground
We love to tread out of the grain....

Shake It
2-16-16

In spite of all you gained
We have a right to decline
Ye have plowed righteousness and reaped justice
Shake it
Passing over Jordan
Upon her fair neck
Break up your fallow ground
For it is time to seek him
You have eaten the fruit of lies
I will make Ephraim to rise
As Judah shall plow
Your blessing is upon your people
Selah
O, arise and save me with stringed instruments
There are many that say
Who will shew us any good
Let them turn back and be ashamed
For it is time to seek him early
Shake it.....

gallopade

Gallopade
2-15-16

Gallopade
Where is your gladness
In your greed upon Patterne Crest
And a trip one mile west
The figures will work out on the shopping list
Yet it's really coming down out there
God has His dandruff and Jesus is enough
Clad in my pinafore
In a dream of going there again
The inhabitants of Samaria will fear
Because of the calves of Beth-Aven
For we will rejoice but for it
As the Lord will hold me in derision
Last night I heard it go down
In the music in my head
His rebuke yet fulfilled....

Resume
2-15-16

Swearing falsely
Thus judgment spring up as a hemlock
Where forgiveness is the key to pick every lock
Our walls are falling down on you
Come this subjection of the earth to the king's rule
In the need to turn the flood over to another artist
And but proceed and resume
May it be old Willie
For ones foal and filly
In the furrows of a field
A perfect day to watch the snowfall
For the order of the Kingdom
And white stuff in the heavens
Rolling sixes and sevens
You dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel
The sky is filled with ice
And gives no warmth at all
And with circumstance we wrestle
Selah....

Yawning Gulf
2-15-16

I never cared for you like God did
For me more than in season
That their grain and wine increased
For Bashaw and for love, the higher law
Insouciant
Marked by blithe unconcern
And nonchalant for the proleptic mind
O, Lord please be kind
Hoyden and saucy
And not quite as much
As boldly it shall be
Also carried unto Assyria for a present to King Jareb
Where our trails will finally hind
I feel it in my pocket
I will tonight lie myself down in peace
And sleep well
As for Samaria
Her king is cut off
As the foam upon the water....

Prayer For Guidance
2-16-16

Iced in again
Vilified for where and when
Over born for the count of ten
For jive, shackle and fetter
And anachronistic representations
To a time that prevailed the event for all regulation of refills
We go tonight if God wills
Let those who love Your name be joyous in You
So it's love in the afternoon
To take up this pen and scribble on my pages
Cast them out in the multitude of thine transgressions
But who are we to say in our manacle
For prolepsis and alignment
And a prayer for guidance....

old in the new

Old In The New
2-15-16

Cast out these pictures
Take in their illustrations
For fossils in gypsy balls and dances
For now we shall say we have no king
Redolent, suggestive and reminiscent
Talking rot and paging back to the Messianic Psalms
For further insight
Why do the nations rage
And the people imagine a vain thing
As rulers take counsel together
And it all depends upon the weather
And the ends of the earth for your profession
You break them with a rod of iron
He hath increased to altars
To go from this to this
Let us break their bonds in pieces....

Two Men, Two Ways, Two Destinies
2-15-16

Fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem
Giving order of the embellishment
Smokestack lightning out my window
O, so cold but free
According to the goodness of His hand
They made goodly images
For now they shall say we have no king
For another maelstrom turbulent
For Maenad
Who is to judge but God alone
Our frenzied madwoman makes the scene
Where the playwright is further inspired
You are my son today I have begotten you
And this is all I want to do....

chock

Chockfull of Spirit
7-15-16

Night no more
O, can it be power in being pure
As far as the blind can see
No money, no honey on bread and butter
Never mind the clutter
O, Hough
Won't you show me the wherewithal
And the know-how
It's nice that they are shoveling us out
Clad in tarboosh to keep heads warm
Our felt cap with silken tassel
Speaking Brandylogia
All for Le Carre
More than come what may
She's got the soul for our chockfull of nuts
I am the Root and the Offspring of David
The bright and morning Star
Night no more
O, can it be!

My Muzzy Maiden
2-15-16

For the new paradise
Its river and its tree of life
Wouldn't it be nice to yet deliver the man
With his switch blade knife
Being honest with myself for dinner readymade
The leaves of the tree were for the healing
Where the countryside is overboard
And masterpieces click with Day
I want to sleep one hundred years
I play his favorite album for the cause of truth
Another espionage
Lizards in the flesh
But outside are dogs off their leashes
Behold I am coming quickly
It's only a phase
Last promise, first prayer, next provision
Yeah, make your grocery list and decision...

Redolent Reminders
2-15-16

Israel is an empty vine
He brings forth fruit
Why
Himself Ephraim is smitten with wine
All for novels on my dusty shelf
Going to take you up to Glendale
In muzziness
Ain't no use on groveling
They shall be wanderers among the nations
As still I dream of birthdays
Funerals and future vacations
All their wickedness is in Gilgal
Our root is dried up
Made edible by he whom reaps the harvest
You're driving me crazy
But such is a sign that I'm still alive
Surely I am coming quickly
Amen
Even so, come, Lord Jesus...

scipios

Scipios
2-15-16

Bring your money next Sunday morning
But first of all take care of business
Good afternoon, O Scipios
For legionaries of the lustful
The watch men of Ephraim was with my God
We have deeply corrupted ourselves
As in the days of Gibeah
Cold brains
I never consider the heavens
All go dry and the cigarette smoke by themselves
Satan bound for a thousand years
O, false security
She looks the same as you
Dangling broccoli heads dipped in ranch
For the poem of the beast and prophet
Sham for diadems and crowns
Where the red horse is turning pale....

Trollop Untidy
2-15-16

As sorrows never cease for our ramshackle
As the prophet is the snare for the fowler
Therefore iniquity will be remembered
Stand the test and burn the rest
For hatred in the house of his god
All for the new heaven and new earth
Where six becomes seven
For the cause of rebirth
Moment to moment for what it's worth
As a trollop untidy
Yet to confirm tomorrow's absence
I find Israel like grapes in the wilderness
Where we still wander in circles
In the corners of our Gog and Magog
To gather us together and cease to fight
Your love is real...

What Will Thou Give?
2-15-16

For fatalism predestined
Tell me your story
Come for a stay
Yet deprecatory
Mildly disparaging
Ephraim as I saw Tyrus planted in a rotten place
O, what will thou give?
Everbody says go
Brothers and sisters learn how to heal each others' blisters
Can't get enough of tomorrow today
Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts
To be true would be to confess
That I am a worm and no man
Waiting for the hook so you can cast me in
Come, I will show you
The Bride and Groom
Grace be with you, Amen!
I will give blood....

On Revelation 22:12 (singular)
2-15-16

Sanctification, the summary
Of what is holy
In pizza and Stromboli
Come another summary
Of the eternal life of the here and now
Behold I come quickly
And my reward is with Me
For the construction of its wall
And the destruction from an unfamiliar bird call
As of jasper where Elmo meets Casper
The city is laid out as a square of leavings and residue
You're in between lights
That only go two thirds the distance from here to the moon
Did your Lebkuchens in expired milk with Bradylodia?

seventh dispensation

Seventh Dispensation
2-15-16

Yeah, may it be more jam sessions
With my heroes traded for ghosts
Come parasites and their hosts
Clad with the vesture of integrity
The robe of righteousness
I dream of a counterfeit twenty
All for inebriety
For lo, they are gone befuddled
Of destruction we daub it and smear it
Looking for Daudet
And letters de mon Moulin
Memphis shall bury us right where we lie
It's that force field that makes a world of difference
Voices said that I'm lost
What will you do on this solemn day
But just this
O, come and gather together
With hasty and crude strokes of another thankful pen....

bowler

Bowler (Derby)
2-15-16

The figure is according to the Oriental pattern
The garment a symbol of righteousness
Residue not for joy as other people
O, forget me not
Not even for the height of a steeple
The floor and the winepress shall not feed them
Ninety-four was a prolific year for our hero
As Ephraim will return to Egypt
And they shall eat unclean things in Assyria
We're having a picnic on the other side of town
Rejoice not
For Israel hath forgotten his Maker
And the moon is setting down like an iron ball
God gave his only begotten Son
And I'm glad that I went for the lobster bisque
A reason why I take off my bowler hat....

On Hosea 9:4
2-15-16

Getting fat on my fear
Bring it over to me over here
I get lonesome but I'm happy
For foible from the middle to the top
A sword with its weakness
As we foin and but purloin
They shall not offer wine
Neither shall it be pleasing unto them
As the blood of mourners
All that eat of it will be polluted
Reemphasizing in preaching of the Apostolic Church
A kid partaking fine
We look after ourselves
There's nothing to tell now
Riding the scapegoat stain glass windows
In the hereafter
Faithful and True
He judges and makes war
Close your eyes and see
Water to quench all thirst
Behold, a white horse....

roistrous

Roisterous
2-15-16

For sward and swarth
And grassy turf
Our meadow and lawn
And clouds that sheathe the firmament at dawn
Another sin tax paid for our copopral
Yet roisteous
Another stepping stone along the way
Standing at a distance for weeping and wailing
And sparing the other details
Where they sacrifice flesh
For the giving of my offerings
Roily and full of sediment cloudy
And muddy roads
And bloody preparatory
To this catastrophe
There is no why
Healed up in the heart
Struck by the stone....

No Box Of Chocolates
2-15-16

They sacrificed flesh for the giving away lavishly
Of mine liberal and abundant
So once was the wine
How would we remember their iniquity
As my cat senses supernatural activities
And runs wild to and fro
For what I do not know
I have written to him great things
Out of the law of love
That we survived again
No box of chocolates this time around
And no such push and shove
For the second coming of Christ In glory I beg to differ
And to tell my story again
They said, "Aleluliah!"
Her smoke rises up forever and ever
Because Ephraim makes many altars to sin
And we lose so that we can win....

fervider

Fervider
2-15-16

A slew of lost archives today I found
Through and through
The musicologist thrives on good sound
Israel is swallowed up
Now shall they be among the Gentiles
As a vessel unclean
There is no pleasure
As all ferviders find their way
For freight and fancy
For Sylphide waiting patiently for heat
Ton, the number of kings
Pen, the summer it brings
For luxury and wantonness
Come out of her, my people
I will make due today with the setback
And pray for all that yet lack...

Simulacrum
2-15-16

He gat no heat
Welcome mat for an unnamed street
Looking for Paracelsus
Our German Swiss alchemist that does his thing
Scintilla and minute about it
And twice to avenge and judge your verdict
For the woods of Citron
Earth dwellers lament
Mars explorers repent
Requesting stupefaction for simulacrum and semblance
For occult philosophy and air as its element polluted
My nightshade
That will do
For the marriage of the Lamb
Rejoicing in heaven over our deliverance...

aitchbone

Aitchbone
2-15-16

Everything's just fine
If there is such a thing
Up at five
God has His reasons
For Flavius Joulags
Our emperor lives again
In another incarnation
Twenty years later
We set the trumpet to our mouths
They return but not to the Most High
Keeping us guessing and imploring
O why where he shall come like an eagle
Because we transgressed all for the aitchbone
Our cut of the rump scabrous and rough
Dealing with scandalous material
Difficult to handle and knotty
Put a smile on and a piece of me
Israel shall cry
My God, we know thee....

Scabrous
2-15-16

A man captures power and likes to stare
For the seeds of the sunflower oil
Extemporaneous came slanderous and salacious
The enemy shall persue him
My God, we know thee
As Babylon is built again
In the times of the Gentiles
Our summary we have set up kings
Where they have made princes stop here for awhile
And watch and pray
I come peaceably
Scabrous with small projections
The heat still will be on...

Dugout
2-15-16

By salacious material
It's all in my morning vitamin
And cereal for knout and scourge for flogging knots
And complex thy calf
O, Samaria hath cast thee off
Starting out the day with Floyd
Bootlegs chosen
The furnace, she wasn't burning
How long will it be ere they attain to innocence
For the harlot overthrown
And the victory of the Lamb
For scourge and knout
What's this all about
The workmen made it
Therefore it is not God
As the calf of Samaria be broken in pieces
I hide today in my funkhole and dugout
What's this all about!
Each hailstone about the weight of a talent....

corolla

Corolla
2-14-16

Given two wings like the great eagle
Looking for ten rooms but one will suffice
East Vegas come back into view
When we pay the price
Stay on task
When we shall go I spread my net
And bring them down as fowls of the heaven
Yet chastised with them
I wish I had a dollar for each instance
By wrath we saw this beast
He has granted it was given him
She's more a monorail than a Ferris Wheel
I once thought I knew
Looking for Jack Kerouac
To find what I might lack
And Babylon's fall foretold
Here is wisdom
Let him that can see know this number....

Perianth
2-14-16

Freezing ten feet 'neath the ground
I sit down to lobster and coleslaw and a side salad
Blessed is he whom watches
As the winepress is trampled outside the city
And blood comes up to horses' bridles
And we are still subject to idols
For furlongs in weights and measures
Thrust in your sharp sickle
You have given them blood to drink
My tears are holding back for a flood and her brink
I look at my phone and count to twenty
It looks like herring for we have plenty
For another perianth for calyx and corolla
O, King of the saints
Break out your paints
For you alone are holy
Twenty-two chapters
And dreams of stombolli...

Periaqueductal
2-15-16

They have fled from me
Always two coats and three changes of raiment
Around our aqueduct
Our periaqueductal
In this I have no purpose
As Job does no particular placement
O, what am I hiding from in all uncertainty
Only the slipstream still flows
And Jesus indeed knows
As we dream out loud for the juggernaut
In the freeze frame
Come the harlot apostate Christendom enters
"No power over us come victory of the Lamb"
Babylon the great is fallen...

courgette

Courgette
2-14-16

Sixth seal of anarchy
We used to crack jokes about it
Like laughs small like snails and tall like giraffes
Fatidic related to prophesy
Prophetic
It has everything to do with you and I
It's a date
Seven trumpets follow chronological
Sixth trumpet
Army from the far east
You give your love so sweetly
Careful, canny and shrewd
A moment's pleasure
Literally in mid heaven
You say that I'm the only one
In the pit of the abyss
O, Abaddon make me a blessing amen
Making ready our hearts
Focus on the butter in guttural sighs
I utter parenthetic announcement
By the night's angel and no further delay....

Planguncula
2-14-16

This book is one of hundreds
Stacked against my north wall
To bring forth Apostle Paul
Infinitesimal our minute quantity and amount
For Planguncula and passions for the cold water and her fount
Forty-two months and we'll be there
He shall reign
To live is Chriist but to die is gain
John commanded to prophesy again
And this time we will talk of better times
Their power is like that of Moses and Elijah
Saying, "Come up here!"
And we ascended
The second woe is past
And the third will be double
Pro-forma all for my courage
Teacher that served up another tall cold one
We give you thanks O, Lord, God Almighty....

On Hosea 7:11
2-14-16

Beast out of the sea
The deadly wound is healed
Of child and chit
Devices wild with much whit
Our brownie point and advices not to quit
For all meltingness at the chime of one fifteen
I pray for all patience as if asking for trouble
Like a leopard whom won't change his spots
Mortally wounded come the space of all parking lots
Ephraim also is like a silly dove  without heart
From the foundation of the world
In the book of the Lamb that was slain
Of ancient times
All pleasure and pain
To love is Christ and to die is gain
They call to Egypt
They go to Assyria....

the bread

The Bread
1-6-16

Decision do you believe it
Or indecision do you yet doubt
Somebody has the bread, the gospel and the answers
Of which today I implore
For at war with my whore
Breastplate of righteousness
Belt of truth
And mouth full of bitterness and cursing
Here's some fruit that remains
The devil says, "Is that all you've got?"
And I can laugh about it
Possessions and money failed
Then yet to assess
Just why should we die in your presence
Somebody has the bread...

Joseph Gave Them Bread
1-6-16

Faith causes us to respond
Jesus already did
All you need to know
Rose from slumber at the last minute
You don't want any of this, my friend
Why should we die in your presence
Arise, go into Damascus earnestly beholding
The counsel by these weak words
To get the burden for souls again
We wonder where they went when they died
Money failed in the name of Egypt
Sometimes I feel as if I'm hiding behind it
As the earth begins to shake like my hands
Need to be burdened about something
So why not you!

fortnut

Fortnut
1-5-16

Fortnut, Put again to shame
Don't try to force it if it's not going smooth
Fortnut, Put to silence
I've been down this road many times before
And I'm still wandering to castigate
But still say yes sir
It's only fair
I fell for the idol again
It happened at about one
Six hours reticent
How long has this been going on
First attack of the new year
Acknowledge it but don't let it take you over
Too late for that
The damage has been done
Just read what you've already got....

Define Life
1-6-16

New green and red
Almost blue and pink
Relentless is this weather
O, the comforts of being inside where it's warm
Don't mess up a good thing
For Benjamin, son of the right hand
Tonight it's going to be good business
If and when I make it through
For his cataclysmic coming
Back to the dentist in need of numbing
It's cold out, that's life but define life
From pit to pinnacle
We will be Pharaoh's servants
Figuratively
New green and red
Almost blue and pink
My ex girlfriend's favorite colors
I need to leave it behind me...

handful

Handful Revisited
1-5-16

Reflecting and dissecting
selecting and no more rejecting
Tonight I do my thing God willing
For apples and pears
Coming just to make it one more day
And of thee I sing
With identity as ones illusion
Like a partridge that want to take wing
Like having a handful of water
We think to hold it
But it slips right through our fingers
I count on the miracle it take to decipher
All that is written here
It takes only a few ounces of water
To create a dense fog
For identity as such an illusion
As it comes to pass in Iconium
Into Derbe and Lystra
We will travel...

Almost Pink
1-5-16

Changing over to my pen red
Almost pink on fodder well fueled and fed
So I can hear myself think
The ways contract as linen or silk
Or to expand for well being
Going sight seeing
One thing off my fret list
I already passed my inspection
I made it, yeah, I did it
I should be good for almost the next month
And after they have tarried there a space
They are let go
In peace looking for "Letters To Sam"
To make the best of the battering ram
Two ways: contract or expand
With no such if, but or and....

at Antioch

First Called Christians At Antioch
1-5-16

The new Dylan album
Was a short play with Sinatra classics
First two hours completed
Thankful for even that which doth not profit
Simple luxuries in a life of leisure
As for attachments and their pleasure
Currently fingering my beard stubble
Cleaner than yesterday
Remnant that doesn't need mean my trouble
For a centipede in the toilet
I have broken every commandment on the list
Covetous of a neighbor's cleanliness
At the chime of twelve
I come back to the here and now
With even more feedback than before....

Library Retreat Review
1-5-16

Most likely taking down my lights this weekend
To give my cat room on my windowsill
And to forsake the burden and get on with life
As I have known it
Ten packs to my name
On my hair have I grown it
They never seen anything die before
But God has shown it
All his children grow and grow
And Jesus knows the way
That on that night I would crow
Be it known to you therefore men and brethren
It comes to pass in Iconium
That we will see greater things than these
O, cheese...

Old School Flip Top
1-5-16

Old school flip top
New role run the sign that means stop
At home I begin to file another sixty-eight
She gets into my garbage bags
To give me a cue to do laundry
A good reason to hold it together
Last night I did my thing
Just to say that I did
Something I'm glad to see
He kept his job
In that he is a good servant
The highest title in the kingdom
Wherefore my sentence is just
As it is time for my third cup
In hopes to stay up....

lustrum

Lustrum
3-1-16

In cattle grazing territory we get around
Settling in where there is much to be found
A net spread upon my tablet
I dig the new sound turning the sand
Please, I'm only human
Picking on Robert Frost
For judgment is toward us
In all lustrum
And ceremonious purification
I run the race by the rules
Forensic and rhetorical
Or what ever word on your pen
You can use to describe it
Yet I expatiate in all of concision
And wander freely
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge
Picking on Robert Frost....

Augmenting (For Dian)
3-1-16

Brandish alone
With a feathery tone
Today I quote the artists
Treasure these commands and live longer
Rhetorical and bombastic
Language augmenting
O, please lift a hand
I'm only human
O, language elaborate
O, Dian do you dare to drudge
For your fudge
They shall go with their flocks and herds
To seek him early
Waiting for gloaming
Spring forward
Longer daylight
To apply ones heart to understanding
How long will you love simplicity?

Utile (At Utica)
3-1-16

Like them that remove the bound
All is subject to change
By which opportunity is found
I pray for patience and do something with it
At Utica on the Mediterranean founded by Phoenicians from Tyre
We'll make it in style
Another number for my file
Whose ways are straight
Let us brush your wild hair
Yet utile but not futile
Our world is assumed to be a beautiful place
Ephraim shall be desolate
But we remember grace
Mama, I'm coming home
To walk in the ways of light....

squelch

Squelch
3-1-16

Turn at my rebuke
Learn from the gospel of Luke
For our adornment yet in our chains
The stagecoach leaves twenty minutes later
Ice cream, excuse me
I see your looking good to yet squelch and hush
By trampling
Punk or poet
To suppress or inhibit
Our crushing reply
O, you dig it as the smile
Just an hour, do not consent
For wisdom's foundation
The fear of the Lord is reverential trust
But not as being afraid
How long will you love simplicity?

I'm Looking Better
3-1-16

One hour to spare
O, don't be afraid to care
For Israel slides back
Like a backsliding heifer
And Ephraim is joined to idols
And in my looking-glass
Things are looking better
As a looker on a look-in
Of our quick glance to refine and enhance
Their drink is sour
They had committed whoredom continually
And the wind hath bound her up in her wings
Hear ye o priests and hearken
O, do we have another sky to darken
Or should we simply accept the light for what it is
On this sunshiny day
Where Israel is not hidden from us....

Nestor Revisited
3-1-16

When I live I die
For when I give yet I lie
For another Nestor squatter and homesteader
In grazing territory
Tell me, tell me
Give me more
Good to the last drop
Because ye have been a snare on Mizpah
For our undeniable God
Whom made all that we can see
And the revolters are profound
Pussy willows that smile honestly
Israel is defiled
But why all this gloom and doom
When today we have sunshine
I have called you and you did but decline
And you denied all counsel.....

view of Mars

Close View Of Mars
3-1-16

The star above you crimson red
She says it's only in my head
For a skunk we became a drunk
He smells of weed
As I fly above you
With an hour and a half to spare
To be published from here to Cush
Are you awake
We'll be caught on a picture
Gale, I, like you this way not walking
My hair is on end about you
I'm a sitting duck to you
I'm a garbage truck spanking new
That at my rebuke
The chaw is dark but tasty...

Conscriating Again
3-1-16

Because I have written and you refused
You place your hand where I cannot see
In our not too sleepy free flow of idioms
We sacrifice on the top of mountains
We roll the dice for drinking water
Of forever flowing fountains
In that case under oaks, poplars and elms
I stay cool in the shade
And thank God for what He has made
Conscriating
I can tell that you won't be what you pretend
Raising her voice in the open squares
In that case we can have a ball....

west wall

West Wall Of Courage
3-1-16

In the clearing of specious skies
Conscriating whereupon are the ways of the wise
To come to understand an enigma
For chains and their adornment
He cries out in chief concourses
And we have enough hay to feed all of our horses
We hold them to our chest
And today is a day to invest
Conscriating looking to the firmament
In photographs on my west wall
In another place I was in a need to rest
Just to hear it
Come with us and we will do you well.....

Similar Hearts
3-1-16

Hot color melting all resentment
We hope that the coffee is for always
As we hurry by
My grimalkin thinks she is a kitten
Dream on to the heart of the sunrise
Trying to build a foundation of boldness
In sharp distance
We have a lot to be thankful for
Today is going to be another beautiful one in the Lord
Lost is their eyes in our similar hearts
Are you awake?
We need to share our feelings today
Would you write to me
If I put tears in the letter
Now that you are feeling much better
It's going to be another beautiful one...

I Am No Mistake
3-1-16

Wisdom cries aloud without
Giving me reasons to call home
It's something to see to make our love last
The die is cast
And the flag flies three-quarter mast
Coming quickly to terms with all expression
I believe there is a better place
For the smile upon my face
Regarded both the same for seeds of life and love
Was I even awake in the first place?
Do you think I am a mistake?
When it comes down to God's grace
Hoping such to be published
From here to Ethiopia
Sheep lost to waking hours
The teacher travels
Wisdom crieth aloud outside....

ragged

Ragged
2-29-16

Of harp, zither and lyre
Just keep on walking up and down that unnamed street
To hear the music in the trees soon to bud
Get ready for a flood
God wants to bless you in abundance
In a cathedral of Spanish Harlem one finds it
If he looks hard enough
All for our shofar
The corn of a ram blows through her
And hear the music in the trees
At the chime of noon still going strong
I'm looking rough and ragged
To put mankind back on earth
Blow into the shofar and hear the music in the trees
As rivers run to seas
Another peaceful moment our ours
In the stars...

One-Fifty
2-29-16

Praise Him is His mighty firmament
Lift your hands up to the sky and never mind the why
Praise him with clashing cymbals undeniable
His beauty all around is nigh
Plowing into the Proverbs of Solomon
And agree to give it another try
For wisdom: ability to deliver one from harm
Yet in the share of unchastity
Well, baby oddity
We'd be better off doing homework
A mile from where we live
Tomorrow go north and find your souls
And shine your light forth
Praise him in his mighty firmament...

come on down

Come On Down
2-29-16

For those who have been long dead
Yes, they live on somewhere
O, Karma our actions come right back to he that sows the seed
I wish not condemn myself
I ought to be kind to what God hath made me
I will extol you, my God, O King
Referring to the dead sea scrolls for inspiration
It brings something different to those that seek it
I wish not rule nor compete
Call no man fool where you take your seat
To begin to understand at the waving of your hand
A just saying worthy to write a song of it
Bow down your heavens Lord and come on down....

Stapled Eye Comes Open
2-29-16

Crushing my life to the ground
In the practice of presence
I look all around to see what God has made
In forgiveness of my being out of turn
Something new to the crowd
In the One that gives salvation to the kings
I was waiting in our vestibule to get going
And gave another man my card
That our sons be as plants grown up in their youth
I don't plan on retiring
In such a business of these seeds of love
I shatter stapled eyes come open illusion
Becomes the companion of us all
Under skies undressing
And a gust and gale on this leap day
I will write a new poem for God today....

Crazy Flowers
2-29-16

My soul longs for you like a thirsty land
And your waters to me are better than twenty grand
I felt this way before all day yesterday and its wage
We're waiting for springtime
And flowers and leaves crazy
I guess it's our time to rise up again
Where skin takes the form of blood
He paid the price in full
Spring forward, longer daylight
O, listen to the falling of rain
For flowers and leaves green run crazy
As God is praised in regathering us to one place
Where there is much hated
Illusion removes a companion
Of all that look to see it.....

regale

Regale Again
2-29-16

Coming along just fine
I will regale come the hour of nine
To write my song starting out with my auspicious line
Life me up and show me the music
You are my refuge
My portion in the land of the living
For this time of love and its being
Come the eleventh chime
Not to push or shove
The eye is more than the seeing
Keep it single
Yes, keep it pure
And your body will be full of light
To begin again my growing energy
A firework taking over the scope and view
And an urgent appeal for help
Touch the mountains and they shall smoke....

No disguise Necessary
2-29-16

O, deliberately welcome ones infirmity of the flesh
As an opportunity to know ones victory
As my control upon God I hurl
Giving him my challenges
Of course perhaps a special time
I can enjoy with a friend
One forty-four
A Psalm of trust
Blessed be the Lord, my rock
Flash forth lightning and scatter them
Men shall speak of the night of your awesome acts
As Your dominion endures in the banks
Caterwauls and grocery stores
Every day another dollar
I wish not to disguise
I wish to forsake all of those lies
Freeing doubt
Giving it all to Jesus today
On a harp of ten strings
No disguise....

melt with me

Melt With Me
2-29-16

Do not leave my soul destitute
Do not make my soul bare
Have me to not be afraid to care
Now the faintness and its changes
I accept it for the first time
Abiding in the vine
It all belongs to us so it is stated
As the Lord is we will be hated
For alter and truth
Let my prayer be set before you as incense
Keep watch over the door of my lips
Why not give it a shot for a cone of three dips
Mint chocolate chip is served
Melt with me and we will do wonders together...

In My Heart (So Strong)
2-29-16

She moves on the solid earth
And knows what the wisdom is worth
To lift me up and fill my cup
Giving me hope in continual rebirth
I pour out all grievance
Because He wants me to want more
The journey will never be over
O, God bless the rover
As its openness is our sign of healing
She made me run from home to get what I need
Don't hesitate to rhyme with a reason
My love right before my eyes
Is a reality in cloudy skies
As a dweller on the threshold
Light adds color to our scene
As soon we will know of forty more shades of green....

conscriating

Conscriating
2-29-16

They continually gather for sand
While I reach over to look at what my hand has made
To sharpen their tongues like a serpent
How precious are your thoughts towards me
My frame is not hidden
And to another sleepover I am bidden
Yet conscriating
Whereupon did wine take away the heart
Alcoholic is only a label
Not an identity
For Christian so is my new name
The poison of the asps is under their lips
Marvelous are your works
Selah...

Dig It Deeper
2-29-16

For our experience of deliverance
In the other skylines
Behold another sweet horizon
Out to sea we add council at their stocks
Dig three feet down
And hit shovel upon roots and rocks
The devil whispers in ones ear
O, why even bother
But we are empowered and enabled today
In our Father
David says a prayer while in his cave
And I wake from this dream
For a toothbrush and a clean shave
I will pass over safely
Clean bedsheets and a place to lay my head
Breaking the clamshell
A little goes a long way
They take good cities but not in vain....

osseous

Osseous
2-29-16

Scrawny and osseous
I become knowing the secret
For stealing the world for all collagen
Today is going to be a wonderful day
One moment at a time
For his mercy endureth forever
You understand my thought afar off
O, raze it
Raze it to its very foundation
Until you get the picture
Lead me in the way everlasting
Take me to the new day
Walk me out in the morning dew
Osseous and bony
Obdurate and stony
To eat up the karma for our people
To but yet absolve...

First Real Spring
2-29-16

Staying on task
Back over to the computer screen
So I can tell them what I mean
As trees soon bloom in green
And this weekend I hope to make the scene
Give ear to my voice when I cry out to you
Your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed
My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge
May it not be in vain
Come the very first spring
Promises are made
I do my thing and in full my debt is paid
Post-diluvian and readymade
Looking to the rhythm
To believe refer to the Symmachus
And see it for yourself....

Preservation
2-29-16

O, preserve me from all that is violent
When I fall speechless and silent
I lift you up in my heart
And find meaning in it all
To pick the flowers from your floor
To realize my life and more
Take me home to Mother
Delights diluvial
You caught me when I was falling
Four locations for creative activity
Indeed the darkness shall not hide from thee
So the ends meet all with us
Hear the voice of my supplications
Where dreamers dream
As one that might take you silent
Even there your hand might lead thee
Yet diluvial
I will eat tonight and have enough....

penetralia

Penetralia (Midden)
2-29-16

We hung our harps
For existential stars glowing
God's sign of the dawn
For penetralia
Secret parts and recesses midden
Our dunghill for a residence
Lying intransigent
He slew famous kings
Come praise for answered prayer
Yes, no or wait so he tells us
For there are many words on today's pen
You comprehend my path and my lying down
And standing up
Behold you know it altogether
And full again is my cup
Happy the one who repays you
As you have served us for just being there
Far enough together
As the light shines so bright
And the power proves you right....

Inseparable Presence
2-29-16

By God's all-seeing eye and inseparable presence
Looking for the signs and starting of the centuries
In search for truth
Such mound and deposit of shells and animal bones
Another grain of sand on the corner of my eye
By which I have seen compassion
In the home of your heart
Living within the vision of anyone that tries to teach
Yes I reach for a peach
Seeing the stream in your heart
Our hope is our world
For great is his glory
So many will tell their story
Our chief and copious source
Making me believe again
You have searched me and known me...

syllepsis

Syllepsis
2-29-16

Like the dew of Hermon descending
We are friends with agape love never ending
He brings the wind out of his treasuries
He has compassion on his servants
O, Zeuglodon, where is your zeal
Are you real
Believing in the way you might feel
In ones syllepsis
Freedom has been achieved
Happy the one whom takes and makes
Still hoping we are cast at sea
And another fix is imperative for myself and me
And his mercy endures forever...

Puttyroot Revisited
2-29-16

In its corm as in cement
Time again to pay the rent
For puttyroot and Adam and Eve
Food-storing underground stems
Bearing papery scale leaves just to describe it
In such a way crystal clear
For His mercy endures forever
Tomorrow has already found me
Whom gives food to all flesh
Vegetables and dip this evening before the gods
I sing praise to you come Crocus and Gladiolus
And Your little ones against the rock!

Board The Shallop (And Go Fishing)
2-29-16

Clouds go to battle with the sun
Shrouds sheathe the cattle
And you are still the one
Without king, without prince
Without sacrifice
Time to sing and convince
And practice love without the rolling of the dice
Without teraphim, without ephod
We stand fast
My carpenter is at work
O, call no man master
Yet to exalt Jerusalem
Prove my chief love, joy and peace
Against which are no law
I board the shallop and go fishing
Cleaning up all kitchen-midden
Clouds go to battle with the sun today hidden...

audieux

Audieux
2-29-16

Leap day
Not on the wristwatch
Broken band in my pocket
The Now we ought to understand
I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness
Turn this boat around and visit unknown islands
Given another chance to enjoy a beautiful day
In that I watch the sky
Behold we find it in the fields of the woods
O, Audieux I still love you inarms
Such animadversion
And praise come the morning
Where joy comes ones way
In getting on with it
Do not turn away the face of your anointed....

Basilisk Revisited
2-29-16

Special treasure
Ones own possession
Glorious pleasure
Another honest engine confession
For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself
A peculiar people separated going choric inarms
Discovering again the basilosaurus
He makes lightning for the rain
And I am here to confront those
In the books I have seen for myself
An homer of barley and fifteen pieces of silver
Thou shall abide with me many days  for the snowmelt of Hermon
Flowing into the river Jordan
We see life today in a very different way
We have found ourselves anew....

atticize

Atticize
2-29-16

Full of resentment and stubborn notions
I look at you and see your devotions
Holding the lion's share riding in the orlopdeck
Yet to exchange
O, tranque
Who do we have to thank
Come astounding early night skies
Set clocks one hour ahead
Making a covenant with the beasts of the field
Yet to atticize and speak my allocution
Can't stop the train from rolling
Back to bed for one hour
And soon I get my medicine
To unbonnet the underdog
Just so I can hear it clearly...

Lothario
2-29-16

We can see you crawling for the door
By a windscreen for a chimney
Soon time to face the music and relinquish my rest
And make my allocution to tell my story
And I will betroth thee where there are no heroes were
O, Benbow where is your benevolence
By the chirography of the constabulary
No death in the pot
I get it while it's sweet, black, fresh and hot
O lothario, where is the love...

Eyes Not Lofty
2-29-16

We heard of it in Jaar, mar us
Keep on keeping on
Now that we've come this far
Our Bourgeois so is gorgeous
In mine eyes not lofty
Growing in grace on the edge for our recusant
Pig-sconed and lingering
All for our understanding
We can fly O, Latron
Where is the love
The earth shall hear
Corn, wine and oil
And they shall hear Jezreel
We heard it in Ephrathah
Come the blessedness of brotherly love
We wait for dawn
And the sun is soon before us
In mine eyes not lofty....

double-dye

Double-Dye
2-29-16

I feel you too
For our double-dye votive
And dedicated in fulfilment
Come Apollo, god of medicine and poetry
They our annals of successive years
O, how I ramble
As my shopping trip will be a gamble
The Lord has done great things for us
And we are glad where roots are as descendants
She decks herself with jewels
O, lay beside me to visit upon her the days of Baalim
The door is locked now
But it's open to those whom come and see me...

Cramoisy
2-29-16

O, cramoisy do you care or even have compassion
Hiding in your ghetto
Therefore behold, I allure her
At the chime of five
I am up, at it, awake and alive
I bring her into the wilderness
And speak to her comfortable words
To give her vineyards from thence
Until it all makes perfect sense
And the valley of Achor for a door
Our six inch battlefield  in our skull
So is waged war
Out of the depths I cried  to you
And behold they cry out
What have we to do with thee
Back to bed for two more hours
As one to regain staying powers....

Love To Ration
2-29-16

Lay beside me and tell me what I've done
To call me Ishi and no more Baali
Soon I see the sun
Soon I will see it
Should I open up the door for you?
For out mounteback our flamboyant charlatan
We twaddle and prate
Curly headed and fillet of fish breaded
All for Croesis
Our last king of Lydia
O, curmudgeon where is your compassion
As such love to but ration....

arsacid

Arsacid
2-29-16

O, will you tame
Go ye and see the name
Stay in the word
It is far from absurd
Of Ankh and ansate
Of love and hate
Their mother played the harlot
And God had much more to create in Egypt
As a symbol of life such is used
O, brother do you still hanker
Go back to sleep it's too early to rise
Like twisted vines they grow
It's another sunshiny day for the record
For our faded Primadonna
Yet arsacid of the Parthian...

Parthia
2-29-16

Drift away
Back up at about half past four
Fade away
I have coffee and I'm going to want more
And if in retreat I'm up for the day
And this time I'm sure
And we will follow after other lovers
Let the filthy be filthy still pure
For she did not know that I gave her wine
And multiplied her silver and gold
Which we prepare for Baal off the beaten path
Rivers and streams and crazy dreams
I write more reams....

Paean Revisited
2-29-16

Good to the last drop
One small swill remains
Leave yourself behind until you make enemies your footstool
With underpinning support and foundation
Material and masonry
And another sloppy writing job to do
I also cause her bliss to continue with feast days and new moons
Where the beast stays by the writing of cryptic runes
Underkill and insufficient
All for our Paean of joyful praise and exaltation....

yottahertz

Yottahertz (Get The Energy)
2-28-16

For blessings on the home of the God fearing
The sun is up and the clouds are clearing
By the yottahertz of gigabytes
If we could but fathom it
Soon to be plowing into the proverbs
Into the country to the Gergesenes
Behold they cried out
O, are you this man of means?
For the fruit of the womb is a reward
Ten minutes and I'll be on board
For as much free coffee as Jesus can afford....

My People
2-29-16

Turn on fiery blue
Go take a wife of whoredoms
Departing from the love
Great is the day of Jezreel
In growing pains and boredoms
Tool: It only takes two verses to start it up
Fool: saunter to your kitchen and fill again your cup
God not save them by bow nor by sword
But in the Spirit of the Lord
Great is the day of Lo-Ruhamah
As so we gather together
To see today our clement weather
Take the intersection
Join the wreck
And all I can say is what the heck...

Can't Fake Steak
2-29-16

Plead for your mother for she is not my wife
Bleed for your brother and no more animosity or strife
Cleave to your mistress for she is your dear and sole life yet to be
As the land of the sea steak and lobster
You can't fake it
Such is a wonderful combination
And only God can make it
And so the story goes
I go home to Mother this weekend
Let her put away adulteries from between her breasts
Yes this is written
There whom you eat the labor of your hands
You shall be happy so make it snappy...

forgo

O, Forgo It
2-28-16

Water to drink and much time to think
When I get back
Another plan of attack
As our certain scribe came for the Word
And his name, Master
I will follow thee
Wanting to forgo the smoke from here on out
Come remembrance of past blessing
God on the side of his people
As the eyes of the maid
To the harp of her mistress
Suffer me first to go and hear this Word preached
A little bit of faith goes a long way
O, help me Holy Spirit to forgo....

Sozodont
2-28-16

Unto you I lift up my eyes
A word of encouragement for a wake up call
By the Lord's encompassing protection
Children are God's heritage
O, protect them as they go on out to learn something
Stalwart and resolute and no more sozzled
Forty-five minutes and I'll be on board for joy and singing
Peace, be upon us
We are like those whom dream
And to add such amaretto cream
O, sozodont of all sedation
Today is a day of rest when I return.....

On The Mercea
2-28-16

And for a moment
Magic turns our eyes
Yet we are those to detect the truth and lies
Surely we can tell in the valley of our Yosemite
Along the Mercea
A park of many waterfalls
Come and see it
Happy is the man who has his quiver full
Gazing upon the songs of Ascents
A sinner is saved and the righteous repents
Come on over to see what the buzz is all about
Work out the story as you read it again
With a better understanding this time around
O, what manner of man is this
That even the winds of the sea obey him!

fifteen steps

Fifteen Steps
2-28-16

Fifteen steps leading to the court
Where these Psalms are sung
I count my privileges to bear them as dung
Gnashing my teeth and coughing up a lung
For ascetic and emotional restraint
Lie down for one hour until you find it
There will be empty corridors in old schools
Where ghosts try to break the silence
I caught but one hour on the sun
All for cool jazz for our Cajun
For which I face the dawn
I will lift up mine eyes to the hills
O, go thy way
And as thou believed
So be it done unto thee
Give me understanding....

Where Tribes Go Up
2-28-16

I watch the skies with all defenses down
Praise God for another sunrise
In the selfsame hour I have earned my crown
For Cajun ancestry and no such partiality
Our feet have been standing within your gates
Weather calls for almost sixty today
That it might be fulfilled which is spoken by Esaias
He took our infirmities and bare our sickness
They still say take care
I will now say, "Peace be within you"
Where the tribes go up and fill again the cup
Touch her land and the fever will leave
As one to rejoice and no more grieve.....

Joyful Anticipation
2-28-16

Five leaf clover
It is more than my own invention
Into a sky that's clear
Foxes have holes and birds have nests
He gives commandment to depart unto the other side
One hour till it's time to go
All for love and not for pride
Peace be within your walls
Thank you for all of your wakeup calls
He would not allow your foot to be moved
Spring soon arrives
Astounding skies are proved
And I love them exceedingly
Today's going to be a beautiful day
I pray for the will to just enjoy it
Just ease into it so was the answer to my prayer....

silk-screen

Silk-Screen (Warhol)
2-28-16

O, paintings of silk-screen
Prints of commonplace images and helpful hints
I want to be there more and more
Even when it might cost me something
There comes a Centurian to beseech him
There comes a Rabbi to teach him
That thou tell every man while in great pain
I withdraw from them for my own well being
For the leaders of the pop art movement
Our stencil method where our design is imposed
And the bar is closed
Jesus says, "I will come and heal him"....

On Matthew 8:9
2-28-16

For I am a man under authority
I am not worthy that thou shall come under my roof
As I stand without and quite aloof
For the ink poured through the mesh and paper new and fresh
Onto its printing surface
On the bass Phil Lesh
Coated with a substance impermeable
O, Hearsay, how is your heredity
Having soldiers under me
Yesterday was a wonderful one
And tomorrow will be better
As today is a gift
I say to this man
Go and he goeth
As a city that is compacted together
So are we as brothers and no more as strangers
And today I look for the truth....

ironclad

Ironclad (On The Platte)
2-28-16

Remember nothing you've been told
Means anything to me
Yet Tanzanian is our cash crop
Come and see
On the Platte at the chime of five
Where the lion rock is weeping
Looking for James Fort to but acknowledge and exhort
Transcontinental in Ragtown in our ragtop
We wreck it today only for a crash tests
By sharp arrows of the warrior
And coals of the broom tree
It's more than fun and games to me
In our restless age in golden temples on the Platte....

Don't Miss It!
2-28-16

Wherefore by their fruits shall we know them
In plunderings and loots
We will show them
All for ones frontiersman
If I reach one today it will be worth it all
Along my international border to birth it all
Our region just beyond of a legion
Not touched by the magic wand
And them will I profess all that today I confess
Doing many wonderful works in just this
It's a sermon I won't want to miss
No, not for the world....

Today I Request Prayer
2-28-16

Lord, I hope for your salvation
Giving thanks for my food and its salivation
The list is made and tomorrow to the market
All in full is paid
Songs of Ascents sung by those
From all parts of Palestine
It's old and in decay yet brand new
Come the month of May
And the rain descended as the floods came
A faith not to be prevented in Word and in name
Apathy rolls off my back like drops of bath water
And behold there comes a leper
O, I will, be thou clean
Crazy regardless
I make the scene
Let my cry come before you
Today I request their prayers....

fir

Hello Fellow Fir
2-28-16

Please save me so I say
But she says save myself
Before of false prophets
In taking in classic authors on my shelf
You shall know them by their fruits
No man gathers grapes of thorns or figs of thistles
Today I have nothing to give but me being here
Dirty washing on the line
And footsteps on the sand
In hopes to bathe in the holy blood
Of the wine they offer
Baptized in the bottles of forgiveness
On the corner of moment and meaning
The land lives longer when we listen to the earth speak
Hello aspen
I see you are far from being very
Farewell fir
Save yourself...

Fruit On The Reese (For Myerene)
2-28-16

O, revive me according to your justice
I think of you as my range, good pal
O, tell it with you
I will have another smoke
I think of you as my shelter
On the Reese
I seek all love, joy and peace
All for Myerene
To you know how it feels
To issue no scars
All for Humboldt
And another trip to many
Naturalist and writer
A good tree brings forth fruit sweet
And the stranger gleans from the fallen grapes
Today I pay the price for apples
Yet on the branch
Deliver me according to your word....

Mott

Mott
2-28-16

Luck in the Greek
My five leaf clover
My latest invention
With loving and peaceful intention
Even for the backwoodsman
In uncultivated areas yet uncharted
Looking for John Raleigh Mott
To but put off trying to be something that I'm not
In the outback I learn the ways
O, the traveler's Psalm
And our joyful anticipation
For the sake of my brethren
And companions I've been searching for
To learn all about love
And not for the pride
Luck in the Greek
The five leaf clover
My latest invention
If you ask a fish
Will I give you a scorpion...

Ceorl
2-28-16

Enter ye at the strait gate
All for Hecuba and Ariam
As to chide one to improve him
Yet churlish
Narrow is the gate
And He has that which leads to life
O, chip where is the challenge
Few will find it
All for our Angus
Our herdsman
Where is my home
Even of Briareus against the hair
Contrary to natural tendency
To attaint and impart
The stigma unto ourselves
Copied and engraved
Dog eared and double paged
A lion no longer caged
Against the grain
Our Abel feeds on Cain
O, ceorl cease from celery.....

reasoning

Reasoning With Reasons
4-17-05

And I am yet to go out on a fishing trip
For crustaceans and mollusks and anthropods
As unto what is just and true I get a tighter grip
While steering clear of phony philosophy and false gods
And wine can represent God's wrath
Or it could connote the joy of the redeemed
As idolatry can take the form of enthusiasm
Of learning science and math
And still I seek knowledge
And of school last night I dreamed
And it is these little things in life
That keep me going back
As such things labeled as worldly and secular
So are part of God's big plan
And this is bigger than it looks
As the absence of light seems to be as black
And the fleshly nature lives on
And for this there is a reason
For God has created woman and man.....

The Truth About The Metal
4-17-05

And sometimes in order to get to the good stuff
One must first taste what is ugly and endure the bad
And so we keep in mind to seek first the kingdom
And know that Jesus is enough
As the foundation is already laid
And no man can disannul nor add
In our trials so we are refined
In the fervent heat of the brazen grate
And all along our way
So cumbersome obstacles are aligned
As we are melted down through our love and hate
And even if I've gotten away from that metal shop class
Still such crazy dreams remain a part of my inner being
And still I have a desire to go back to work with that steel and brass
And create something from the fruit of the trial
Knowing that hurting is another part of seeing...

right to cry

The Right To Cry
4-17-05

And looking to the past
Is yet another key to attain
When you want to conduct a study of mammoths and dinosaurs
And peace so will come down in the evening rain
To make up for the time we've wasted in such senseless wars
And it is of a truth that we won't be happy all the time
And it is known through experience that it's alright to feel sad
As so the melancholy euphonious piano playing inspires my rhyme
As for testimony and example of illustrations
We use what seems bad
And when the sun goes down
There is born new hopes in the darkening sky
As dew settles upon the myriad trees on the town
And we have every right to lament and cry.....

This Flight
4-17-05

And so the waters in dark rivers rise
As in deep dreams they will overwhelm and inundate
And so to step in to take a dip would be wise
As you conduct another spiritual search for precious stones and live bait
And on your path to righteousness your borders are extended
And all along the narrow way no man will desire your land
And look to what is to be as another week has ended
And the coffee is twice as sweet
As the bitter turns left on Market Street
As such a passage I come to understand
And I pray that I can be a blessing
And have the boldness to reach out to you
And the stewardess will bring out more salad dressing
As so this flight so takes me on another journey
To seek out all that is true....

onerous weight

Onerous Weight
4-15-05

And as evening light fades and the sun goes down
It matters no longer that the day is dreary
And I still press on
In the seeking of my crown
And in obstinence resist
Even if I might be down and out and weary
And so as you increase and accumulate
So your life will become an onerous weight
And you wake late in the afternoon
With dust on your conscience
As you see that your burden is great
And you see the need to clean up
But you don't know just where to begin
And of your morning coffee
You pour yourself another cup
And when you're up against bondage and flesh
Without the Spirit indwelling you'll never win
And so as night fades and the sun is soon to rise
You give thanks for what you have seen
As still you persist in seeking this prize....

To Land In The Cypress
4-15-05

And as I meander at the bookstore
I stare into space and gaze in contentment
Towards the east wall
And I cast all cares on the Creator
As I lean upon His grace
And give thanks in knowing that I'm better off here
Than across the street at the shopping mall
And while cross pollinating
We are as working bees
As so to hover with content
Over the needles of coniferous trees
And in the here and now
We will find pleasant places to rest
As we will be ordained to fester
In the forests of the Midwest
And soon I lay down to sleep
As for all I say my prayers
And proceed into the world of dream
As I forget about all my cares....

Qigong

Qigong
1-5-16

Reading the books of Burton
For a vision of stepping out of the van
To count myself fortunate
Just to take these steps of faith across Whiteford
I'm good both ways
For Ayuruedic wisdom
One can live on four hours of sleep
In that it has been even more insane many times before
My dream was of the moon circling over the firmament in ten split seconds
Twenty-six thousand opportunities a day
To support this happiness by my reaching of Qigong
O, how I go wrong!
Thank you for your card
Life doesn't need to be that hard....

G.A.B.A.
1-5-16

I will call up Sister
And tell her about my problem
Seen as a possibility
And my burden to be seen as a blessing
For Chi and Qi
Our China for drama in our India
There is so much more to life
Than what is naked in the eyes of he whom wanders
Come the research of catecholamines
The winds of grace are always blowing
I messed with it I must confess
As you need to raise the sail
Arise, Peter slay and eat
Your portion will not fail
John indeed baptized with water
But ye will be baptized
With the Holy Ghost and with fire....

A Short Play
1-5-16

I wrote a letter and mailed it in you
I've got a friend somewhere in Jesus
Sri Ramakrishra still speaks
In some form known to they of faith
Remember the five thousand that were fed
And easy wind
Because it is on my conscience
That I didn't have anything to eat this morning
With cookies as my incentive to hold it together
I think that sixteen is going to be a better year
Under the suspicion of my own backpack
O, do I look as such
Seemingly always under such may have books
Being who and what I am to love what God had made is no sin
Having still my five senses....

beat the funk

Beat The Funk
1-5-16

This darkness has got to give
Where the dead will live
dying to myself
It is more blessed to give
Churches are yet to be edified
And I prefer my eggplant fried
She says I bring it all upon myself
One way or another
And many days were fulfilled
Another tall cup is killed
Nice hat, my main man
My main Raven's fan
Jesus already did it
Is all one needs to know
Decision: O do you believe it
And will you in time receive it
I don't call it my junk
On my fifteenth visit
Was the day I beat the funk....

A Sword To Be Wielded
1-5-16

Twice the happy sale
They're all here pulling for me
O, learn to wield the sword
Not just a decoration
If you don't realize you're in the battle
You're a sitting duck
To get locked downhill
It was a service about the armor
Of God and the realization of going in there equipped
I killed it again and I'm ready for a refill
On drums Phil
His soft spot was his pride
But at least I'm enjoying the ride
If the sword is never wielded
The battle hath no value
I've got a friend somewhere
Jesus responds by, "It is written"....

Once A Stone, Now A Rock
1-5-16

I smell scone somewhere
I taste toffee right here and now
I caress croissants in my near future
Seeing in the vision evidently
Hey Doc, how's about a refill
On the morrow I take my journey
And on the day after I get checked out
Toothpaste on my bathroom floor
Is the least of my cares
Our Ephesians chapter six
On spiritual warfare
God protect me
Ten pages I crank out so far
O, so what?
Send therefore to Joppa
And call hither Simon surnamed Peter
Once a stone and now a rock
We all play our part
My resolution is to just enjoy the coffee....

On Acts 10:15 (dig this)
1-5-16

What God has cleansed
Call not then common
This was done thrice
And I'm still willing to pay the price
Whatsoever happens today
God is still on his throne
Taking advantage of the conversation
For the temperature fluctuation of Ayuruedic wisdom
One hour of sleep before midnight is worth two after
O, what is it to us
Consolation of laughter
Take care, man, O still they say
It doesn't need to mean bad news yet to touch base
Let stand five minutes until cool enough is ones case...

conversation piece

Conversation Piece
1-5-16

Happy New Year still works
How was your time off
She said, excellent but what about mine
I say just fine
Another conversation piece
Today's suffering is a grain of sand
Next to the rest of forever
With no signs or dividing lines
Our object that arouses
Comment by some stinking or usual quality
Very few rules in the game
This is more than entertainment
I call it mine divine intervention
All for Jesus and not for pride
And he becomes very hungry and would have eaten
If he was in the right mind
To spend a little time on the mountain
I'm glad to see
That he can still work with us....

Sent To Joppa
1-5-16

Baby, find out before too long
Declaring all these things unto them
Sent to Joppa on the morrow
They drew nigh unto our city
Peter goes up to pray about the sixth hour
In my reality soon approaching whimsical and extravagant
And often useless structure
Serving as something we can see
At eleven in the dot
I wish someone a happy new year
This still works for you and I
In not needing to know the way to go thy yay
For he is a chosen vessel
One way or another
For Ananias coming to see us
Arise, Peter slay and eat....

hilarity

Hilarity (Folly)
1-5-16

Madness, hilarious
Sadness, consoling
You like my point of view that I'm insane
I pray for a man fixing the lights
God bless him
I best stay in where it's warm
In frenzy and rage I fill in another page
For intense excitement hopefully in the right way
As far as light excelleth darkness
I saw that wisdom excelleth folly
For the joyful as well as the necessary
Hopping and hoping
A brother mopping but not moping
With a lack of sense
At least I'm coping
With absurdity as well
For wickedness and wanton eyes
That rive of the Italian band
We strove...

Scratchy
1-5-16

For I shew him great things he must suffer
For my name's sake
Go thy way for he is a chosen vessel
And with the angel learn to wrestle
Looking across the room upon a lady with perfect hair
I pray that I will make it through today
Jumping the gun already
Thinking of the month of May
Scratchy, uneven, haphazard
Liable to cause minor irritation
I'm going to make it in Jesus' name
I did much better this time around
One step done and another begun
And I wonder
This weather is a little more like it...

Boletus

Boletus
9-25-12

Butterflies make their way to land upon the boletus
In that I believe that life begins long before the fetus
Believing to have existed somewhere even before my conception
Given wisdom and discernment
To see beyond all deception
Being the cowboy of another exodus
With no need to go anywhere else
With the exception of those beautiful classes
Where I meet my beautiful people
That I need not let go....

Pileus
9-25-12

Butterflies visit my pileus
For its flavor added to the broth
In which I have many stories to tell them
Selling them as merchandise
Of the love in my contribution
In this afterglow of gloaming coming soon
To my eyes that yet rove
As I return to my apartment of mayhem
To play some folk psychedelic rock
And write the following compositions
Dealing with how I feel about her...

Of Cruel Kindness
9-25-12

Oxymorons linger as butterflies
That land upon the basis of truth
In knowing these extreme opposites
That are in no wise contradiction
Of the paradox of peace in the pride
Yet to be humbled through our experience
Of things provided for to test and simulation
To add yet to our faith
These butterflies have forgiven me
In that I caught them in a net as a child
Of oxymorons to come
To know to yet discover me....

gift, today

My Gift, Today
9-25-12

Refuse not the gift that is in you
Deny not this power that you already possess
Set apart today in the fast for such a holiday
That just now I become familiar with
Claiming to be such jus
To see what I can find in all of this
Becoming as they to win them over
Refusing not the gift
While in a spiritual sense
I have nothing
Yet know to possess all things...

The Plan
9-25-12

Butterflies work on my behalf
In that the first thing I do when I get back
Is smell her shoe
Not ashamed of such peculiaralities
In that I am that which I am
And it is what it is
Told that I can come to believe that indeed I can
Being one step closer to being a real man
Wishing them all well on their way
In all of the flowers they plan to visit
Upon their pilgrimage of the plan...

secret

My Secret
9-25-12

Everybody talks where gossip is inevitable
Looking back to what I did on a Saturday night
Willing to share this secret
To be honest and open of fetishes and peculiar ways
Quite sacred in that I am what I am
Moving onto the epistle of Apostle Paul to the Hebrews
As a prisoner of Jesus
Therefore free from manmade ordinances
A butterfly today in the faith
Going through changes
In that I have not yet apprehended....

On Hebrews 1:2
9-25-12

Heir of all things so as such is stated
And I say yeah, all things
Even that which is loathed and hated
I don't get out much
But I came to class today
For the heir of all things
With speech seasoned with salt
In the handling of a secret
Choosing my confession
To the heir of all things
Wherein my inner child sings....

Cause To Refrain
9-25-12

Fasting, my alibi for not being present in the proposition
That I decline as well as an observation
According to the personal preference
It is my human and Christian right not to partake
Where Dylan is sung by Phil
In a coarse and beautiful manner
Where the stone set at naught has become the head of the corner
In that accepted are those left out
In that which is me
With fasting as a cause to refrain....

representative

Representative
9-24-12

Being as true representatives of Christ on earth
Dwelling in vessels of spirituality
To shine forth in illumination
Of a countenance going through our manifested change
Where the truth will spread its net upon wider circles
Where the shad are captured in ones voluntary humility
In saying my blessings for those at their work
And for their paths to be plentiful and prosperous....

My Fellow Soldier
9-25-12

Apphia and Archippus are my fellow soldiers
In the faith today
In my walk with Jesus
In the sunshine
Given the grace and peace in the Spirit
Filled with the spirit of greeting and blessing
To all that are on my path
Moving on with the epistles
While writing some of my own
First day back at class
Clean cut with Apphia and Archippus
In wide awake dreams of plenty
Having nothing but possessing all things...

Made It Again
9-25-12

Last night at my table of one cubit square
I devour a nutria grain granola bar
To mention motorcycle insurance
Out of my nowhere that is somewhere
In that I made it
Yet I have not apprehended
In my walk with the weight on my shoulders
Made to be as light
Like the feather of my quill
Applied to parchment....

marsupial

Marsupial
9-24-12

Greeting marsupials on my path
In that I come to know grace
That will mollify wrath
Being as the minion
And the follower of they whom trust
Leaning upon the Rock of no offense
Carrying in my pocket the trust to prove
That I am what I am
And it is what it is....

On Isaiah 32:4
9-24-12

The tongue of the stammerers
Will be made ready to speak plainly
As those once intimidated come out of their shells
By way of this Spirit making bold those that remain silent
This Spirit has done its work in me
Through my poetry inspired by Scripture
All day today in the Lord
I hope to be more in life than just words....

Kitchen Sink Success
9-24-12

Paul and Titus were fishers of men
In that I make clean again my kitchen sink
To inspire another number for the pen
As so searched out were these spiritual traits
Required for one to be a faithful leader
Of the people that yet wander
As truth is made known in this time
Both right here and over yonder....

parrot

Parrot
11-19-13

The voices I heard last night
Were of the truth and not delusion
Like a parrot sitting on my shoulder
To challenge mine integrity
Blessed today with the music they wanted me to relinquish
But I would never put those tokens away from me
As token of poetic utterance when I sing along
Where the brother's voice of his blood crieth from the ground
Like the music I am blessed with
To yet inspire more and more
And holding away all despair...

Port
11-19-13

Still dreaming of my bottle of port
No longer as my last resort
As if I wanted to return to my revelry
Over which my conscience goes to court
And I want these words to have a purpose and plan
And to be more than space filled
By a man according to his narcissism
In loving the sound of his own voice
Reminded again that our rejoice is our choice
Still dreaming of my bottle of port
To see such as an expedient to yet exhort....

In Nod
11-19-13

Dwelling east of Eden in the land of Nod
Knowing consolation that in all of my ways I acknowledge my God
Where to live is Christ and to die is gain
Purging away the dross cleansed in the falling rain
Sending not the ark away empty
So that the excavation will not be in vain
Still growing out my beard
Finding the trail not as strange or even weird
Dwelling east of Eden in the land of Nod
Leaning today again on the Son of God.....

Request
11-19-13

Requesting the ideas that follow
When I lie my head down and close my eyes to pray
Turning the podium over to James Taylor albums
To seek out middle ground and to find my wise mind
Where the stars again are aligned
And my teeth soon cease to like so yet grind
