beat the funk

Beat The Funk
1-5-16

This darkness has got to give
Where the dead will live
dying to myself
It is more blessed to give
Churches are yet to be edified
And I prefer my eggplant fried
She says I bring it all upon myself
One way or another
And many days were fulfilled
Another tall cup is killed
Nice hat, my main man
My main Raven's fan
Jesus already did it
Is all one needs to know
Decision: O do you believe it
And will you in time receive it
I don't call it my junk
On my fifteenth visit
Was the day I beat the funk....

A Sword To Be Wielded
1-5-16

Twice the happy sale
They're all here pulling for me
O, learn to wield the sword
Not just a decoration
If you don't realize you're in the battle
You're a sitting duck
To get locked downhill
It was a service about the armor
Of God and the realization of going in there equipped
I killed it again and I'm ready for a refill
On drums Phil
His soft spot was his pride
But at least I'm enjoying the ride
If the sword is never wielded
The battle hath no value
I've got a friend somewhere
Jesus responds by, "It is written"....

Once A Stone, Now A Rock
1-5-16

I smell scone somewhere
I taste toffee right here and now
I caress croissants in my near future
Seeing in the vision evidently
Hey Doc, how's about a refill
On the morrow I take my journey
And on the day after I get checked out
Toothpaste on my bathroom floor
Is the least of my cares
Our Ephesians chapter six
On spiritual warfare
God protect me
Ten pages I crank out so far
O, so what?
Send therefore to Joppa
And call hither Simon surnamed Peter
Once a stone and now a rock
We all play our part
My resolution is to just enjoy the coffee....

On Acts 10:15 (dig this)
1-5-16

What God has cleansed
Call not then common
This was done thrice
And I'm still willing to pay the price
Whatsoever happens today
God is still on his throne
Taking advantage of the conversation
For the temperature fluctuation of Ayuruedic wisdom
One hour of sleep before midnight is worth two after
O, what is it to us
Consolation of laughter
Take care, man, O still they say
It doesn't need to mean bad news yet to touch base
Let stand five minutes until cool enough is ones case...
