ragged

Ragged
2-29-16

Of harp, zither and lyre
Just keep on walking up and down that unnamed street
To hear the music in the trees soon to bud
Get ready for a flood
God wants to bless you in abundance
In a cathedral of Spanish Harlem one finds it
If he looks hard enough
All for our shofar
The corn of a ram blows through her
And hear the music in the trees
At the chime of noon still going strong
I'm looking rough and ragged
To put mankind back on earth
Blow into the shofar and hear the music in the trees
As rivers run to seas
Another peaceful moment our ours
In the stars...

One-Fifty
2-29-16

Praise Him is His mighty firmament
Lift your hands up to the sky and never mind the why
Praise him with clashing cymbals undeniable
His beauty all around is nigh
Plowing into the Proverbs of Solomon
And agree to give it another try
For wisdom: ability to deliver one from harm
Yet in the share of unchastity
Well, baby oddity
We'd be better off doing homework
A mile from where we live
Tomorrow go north and find your souls
And shine your light forth
Praise him in his mighty firmament...
