Old In The New
2-15-16
Cast out these pictures
Take in their illustrations
For fossils in gypsy balls and dances
For now we shall say we have no king
Redolent, suggestive and reminiscent
Talking rot and paging back to the Messianic Psalms
For further insight
Why do the nations rage
And the people imagine a vain thing
As rulers take counsel together
And it all depends upon the weather
And the ends of the earth for your profession
You break them with a rod of iron
He hath increased to altars
To go from this to this
Let us break their bonds in pieces....
Two Men, Two Ways, Two Destinies
2-15-16
Fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem
Giving order of the embellishment
Smokestack lightning out my window
O, so cold but free
According to the goodness of His hand
They made goodly images
For now they shall say we have no king
For another maelstrom turbulent
For Maenad
Who is to judge but God alone
Our frenzied madwoman makes the scene
Where the playwright is further inspired
You are my son today I have begotten you
And this is all I want to do....
