gallopade

Gallopade
2-15-16

Gallopade
Where is your gladness
In your greed upon Patterne Crest
And a trip one mile west
The figures will work out on the shopping list
Yet it's really coming down out there
God has His dandruff and Jesus is enough
Clad in my pinafore
In a dream of going there again
The inhabitants of Samaria will fear
Because of the calves of Beth-Aven
For we will rejoice but for it
As the Lord will hold me in derision
Last night I heard it go down
In the music in my head
His rebuke yet fulfilled....

Resume
2-15-16

Swearing falsely
Thus judgment spring up as a hemlock
Where forgiveness is the key to pick every lock
Our walls are falling down on you
Come this subjection of the earth to the king's rule
In the need to turn the flood over to another artist
And but proceed and resume
May it be old Willie
For ones foal and filly
In the furrows of a field
A perfect day to watch the snowfall
For the order of the Kingdom
And white stuff in the heavens
Rolling sixes and sevens
You dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel
The sky is filled with ice
And gives no warmth at all
And with circumstance we wrestle
Selah....

Yawning Gulf
2-15-16

I never cared for you like God did
For me more than in season
That their grain and wine increased
For Bashaw and for love, the higher law
Insouciant
Marked by blithe unconcern
And nonchalant for the proleptic mind
O, Lord please be kind
Hoyden and saucy
And not quite as much
As boldly it shall be
Also carried unto Assyria for a present to King Jareb
Where our trails will finally hind
I feel it in my pocket
I will tonight lie myself down in peace
And sleep well
As for Samaria
Her king is cut off
As the foam upon the water....

Prayer For Guidance
2-16-16

Iced in again
Vilified for where and when
Over born for the count of ten
For jive, shackle and fetter
And anachronistic representations
To a time that prevailed the event for all regulation of refills
We go tonight if God wills
Let those who love Your name be joyous in You
So it's love in the afternoon
To take up this pen and scribble on my pages
Cast them out in the multitude of thine transgressions
But who are we to say in our manacle
For prolepsis and alignment
And a prayer for guidance....
