Lustrum
3-1-16
In cattle grazing territory we get around
Settling in where there is much to be found
A net spread upon my tablet
I dig the new sound turning the sand
Please, I'm only human
Picking on Robert Frost
For judgment is toward us
In all lustrum
And ceremonious purification
I run the race by the rules
Forensic and rhetorical
Or what ever word on your pen
You can use to describe it
Yet I expatiate in all of concision
And wander freely
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge
Picking on Robert Frost....
Augmenting (For Dian)
3-1-16
Brandish alone
With a feathery tone
Today I quote the artists
Treasure these commands and live longer
Rhetorical and bombastic
Language augmenting
O, please lift a hand
I'm only human
O, language elaborate
O, Dian do you dare to drudge
For your fudge
They shall go with their flocks and herds
To seek him early
Waiting for gloaming
Spring forward
Longer daylight
To apply ones heart to understanding
How long will you love simplicity?
Utile (At Utica)
3-1-16
Like them that remove the bound
All is subject to change
By which opportunity is found
I pray for patience and do something with it
At Utica on the Mediterranean founded by Phoenicians from Tyre
We'll make it in style
Another number for my file
Whose ways are straight
Let us brush your wild hair
Yet utile but not futile
Our world is assumed to be a beautiful place
Ephraim shall be desolate
But we remember grace
Mama, I'm coming home
To walk in the ways of light....
