Keeping it real sufficient for the work in knop and flower
Another flop for power to cover withal ourselves
On my six bookshelves delightful and astounded all for checkerboards
At dark tables learning a lesson in humility as in Dave Salle
Three strikes you're back in
Don't do anything different being discrete today
In staying out of the heat
I'm working on it working on me
Astonished three strikes

Hello trainers for proof of existence
No more TV today in the language of Zen
I take retreat overwhelmed by the sound of a happy pilot
Learning surrender but no such defeat
Snack bar closed still nothing to eat
Where artists know only this tomorrow
I'll be back in there if God is willing

Sometimes it makes me tremble with the pleasure of reflections
Of a creative spirit good to be back in it
Even when it feels bad
