six hundred

The Valley Calls (Six Hundred Strong)
8-15-19

I've got a lot going for me
In the next three hours at hand
Stripping Aaron of his vestures of virtue of battlefights of smog
For Walt Whitman and dragonflies
Eleazar comes downfrom the mount as so some of us are quiet
Like a riot loving multi-cultured as to enable and sing the body electric
At Lafayette square breaking the bad on the field three more afternoons
I've got a lot going on in elegies of Lincoln
Where lilacs last in the dooryard.....

What's Your Secret (At Thirty)
8-15-19

O, what's your secret at thirty
Cleansed to become again dirty
In poems of love and friendship
Master to slave captivity and emancipation
One chime more shall be it for you in the chaos in quarters of ruin
God give me the boldness to reach out embodying it as it does
Just because
All in our democracy potential endlessly eating leaves of grass
As Spirit never dies in retrospect for dooryard bloomed
And kindred light upon us friendly as to baffle the gazer's staring eyes....

Pitching In Oboth
8-15-19

Elizabeth and Robert sitting in a tree
Broke again where love comes for free
Training on a turning wheel
Sweeping this black dense tide
Miles wide but not for pride
Drawing nearer to baffle the gazers' staring eyes
For a shot at redemption and tall gentle giants among brother Richard
Be honest this weekend and happy trails better and better
Spring up. O well and toll another bell by orderly conduct
Back to the hills with old limbers burning up ones bones....
