In Anna Maria (Celebrating Birds)
9-14-21
In our accomplice to the answer
Of a fave in Uncle Dave
Now today in hunting perils
To purge out the dross
And urge one to take up the cross
Many for the doing of the day
Following us in footsteps all around me where voices call
On hand or null sines in blocks and scrolls
Hives and prizes in our racehorse north of fermented pines
Where we cling to look inside and find it again
Fresh as studied by the recyclable pillar vernal
For our insight into cities
Taking our sort of my renown....
Travelling Miles In Truth All Down The Crest
9-14-21
Of the miles that birds travel in bobolinks
Methinks kindred in the trees lucky enough to fledge
To find food in the journey of twelve knowing milk as I might fill in one
To complete the razor
Thanking you Jesus in all thing I say
Even before I have ink to catch my breath
For songbirds I'll purchase a book in excavations in Lazarus
In my own hometown on marching strings
White under pouring it for me in things guided
As the star killed as likely in collisions to be back....
