O, thought I
8-26-17
O, thought I
To become banished and become extinct
More to life than knowledge today
And no point in worrying about tomorrow
Nor try to count the days I've been away
By knop and round protuberances
And riches in the form of Word
More than the measure delivering us out of our perdition
That I am born of God
Eye to eye as I have seen it
Selvedge and unravelling in the Red Sea as promised
We cross over too far and too high
Not too much to be
I thank thee and praise thee
Giving me wisdom and might
O, thought I!
Highway (She's A Hotter)
8-26-17
Tasting as I have tasted glory
Yea, and praise
Yes, on the other hand
A tattoo of a compass
I reckon we'll ramble
Till heaven touches down on the earth
Exquisite and sweet as is my joy
Rather to leer them away
Slow down
Freedom to cost me
All that I have to gain
I've been a bad boy
Father tell me something
In nothing so exquisite
As sweet is my pleasure
And plates of brass
So it is written in other Scriptures
Under our Jaredites fifty loops in each curtain
And taches of gold as to sift
As chaff before the wind
For secret oaths and covenants....
Of Small Means
8-26-17
Eight needs not mean hate
As nine is not always doing fine
And heaven on the hill with a rodeo pose
In a snapshot of what I once was
And not just because
Easy to love when I linger
Ride me on down, yeah
And the many thousands of stiffnecked brethren
Down the road a ways mixt with clay
As hitherto been as the wisdom
With the Lord in all your doings
No comfort in the cane of candlesticks
And selvedge in the coupling
Helaman diligent in fulfilling these words
To those with eyes to read...
