Streetwise
3-5-17
Keep on jiving around about Jesus
I wish you well on your way
Here I am, send me
Across the way to touch a brother
Fulfilled in latter days as these here and now
We don't need to wait for heaven
Down Florin in search of a famous comer
For Ali Mohammed
Once again I was mad
Every day can be a Sunday
In the books always there within and subtle
Breaking forth in hymn
Having an impact on us all
God bless these scribblings
Made plain in typeset
Slightly flecked and double decked
With Louisville experience streetwise....
Shadow, Ride Boldly
3-5-17
Shadow, said he
Where can it be
Over the mountains of the moon
As they are moved we get messed up
For a good cause
In my heart the prints of my cat's paws
Sadly I know it is but temporary
To be shorn of strength
In this seed shall all kindreds know of benediction
Blessed just to be blessed to be me
I am blessed to be me
I am a child of the King
So I stand up and sing
Yea, on this day we receive strength
In the light in absence and presence of it
We're letting you do your thing
In Jesus ride boldly.....

essay
Essay
3-5-17
Entering my monastery
To leave the world behind
Confound it, so be it
For our Cistercians and Father's thought available
Transforming oneself by expansion of the essay
Sunup, lights out
Southbound in the climate of monastic prayer
Where father Levis completes his journey
And I come home to a wondrous feast
In a literary sense
Worth more than a thousand pence
As to offer a synthesis
On the corner of Fourth and Walnut
Born in the backseat...
Manuscrip
3-5-17
Black and white
Breaking off on a hymn of thanksgiving
By reality of ones solidarity
Back by unfreedoms so chained
Prevailing previous formation
You are worthy to take the scroll
And to open its seals as sitting ducks
We taste our own vengeance
Out of a shared vision
Yet in my indecision
And early unpublished manuscrips
Where Lehi's seed are to receive the gospel
As did the Israelites likened unto the almond tree
Whose natural branches are grafted in again
Gaily bedight O, gallant knight
The danger is past...
Let's See!
3-5-17
Stand up to sing and look alive
Heal her broken wing and you will survive
Living in the formation it sought to give
Getting ready to go to a sermon
That will help me to live
Against the weight of prevailing solidarity
Don't mess up a good thing for the little fishies and corn chips
As our seed hast dwindled for our fullness
I bring it on home for you
Jesus gaily bedight In modest apparel
I am what I am in Him today
Be no such fool
To be commanded to our olive tree
Let's see!

conscious
Conscious Of It
3-5-17
Don't mess up a good thing today
With my twenty-one dollar investment
Like paying for a ticket for a show
Concisions of the second Vatican council's call
One of Tom's favorites for direst contemplation oblique
Up with the Irons idealistic
I know victory in good old fashioned sound
Yet to close ones eyes to still the wind and rain
In honor of those subliminaries with ramifications
To pursue his ideal....
Latin Necessary
3-5-17
Ends ablaze
Who's for the maze
And corridors of enthusiasm
Craze in learning
I am burning
Loving those fathers and their Latin
Clad in cotton, wool and satin
A Cistercian for a day
Why not try it out
As if it were my own
Today crystal clear with the Allmans
Grieved in the happiness of my own heart
In the works of his hand
For wasted words tasted like curds
For the remnant of our seed
Yet to be grafted in
Being as the branch tender
In being the pretender
Close call and no such coffee spill
As the cause of our disputation...

forefathers
Forefathers
3-5-17
We sometimes call it bull excrement
When we fail to understand
As all the kindreds of the earth be blessed
There, I said enough
As strength fails us at length
Our fathers have not spoken of our seed alone
Up at four writing again for my where
In all kindreds of the earth
He'd be blessed
She's not my sister and it's my ball to love
To knowledge of our forefathers
From behind my west wall
It's the Lord's day
And that's all I really need to know.....
Around The Throne
3-5-17
Hoping to get to the good stuff
Caring in a saying that Jesus is enough
Where our fathers are not taken by faith
As our true token
Thy to give your pillow a chance
And dream big
As happily I realize a tree without her fig
As we are the covenant people
Hungry and thirsty for the truth
In thy seer shall all kindreds of earth be blessed
So it's Maiden in the morning
For this gallant knight
Where vignettes are drawn to entomb us
For a call to renewal....

chin up
Chin Up (Eremitical)
3-4-17
Of His solidarity and thanksgiving
Ride boldly
Ride but not for your pride
Sadly I know the sound of their joy
An attitude comparable with God's love
Give it another chance
For the continuity of Arlington
Living the eremitical
There's no sleeping here till dark falls
Each elder with his harp
As storm clouds clear
Entertain soon the prayer of the heart
But what about right now
And at that time they proceeded
Out to see something new
And to soon in other places
On a day without you
Where the work of the Father shall commence
Chin up like a lighthouse...
On First Nephi 14:21
3-4-17
Finding another ship close to shore
Shine your light on the most precious
And easy to the understanding of all men such is this pen
Scattered upon these inkwells
Written plain and pure as if to endure
Caught in the moment
Thank heaven of the crisis
Shorn of all shadow for shells by the seashore
Now in my bed while sitting out here
She says I need to learn to be in two places at one time
So indeed I am already there
Fancy me, alive yet still dying to myself
Write the remainder of these things in this book to the churches
For you were slain...
I Had To Ask
3-4-17
The remainder still thou see
To but justify what you cannot
Such suffering is not in vain
In that it's all for Jesus
As we look behind the veil
Looking to open those seals
Where the lightning strikes
For eventual universal adoration
To look beyond the veil
Worthy is the Lamb that is slain
To take away all of our pain
Just focus on things that truly matter
As in holding these pages open
As to gather as to scatter
In our latter days the gathering
Likened unto an olive tree
And branches grafted in again
O, am I amongst the wicked
I had to ask!

idealistic
Idealistic
3-4-17
Here's to our false awakening suite
Soon to be as discoverers
Come aims of founders of order
In my next bible journey
Begun in September of the year of '01
Needing a boost of morale
Biggest problem yourself
Don't allow it to prevent you from being your best
Gaily bedight
Love never gets old
Casting crown before the throne
Saying You are worthy to receive power and glory
So that even the Cistercian can tell his story
Looking for the life I left behind
One day we walk on streets of gold
For the wealth all around us
As angels exalt Him....
Of Trappist Trade
3-4-17
If you seek for Eldorado
Running from the enemy inside
For papers in my collection
And much pride in Latin background our Cistercian
Every time I mention it I commit it to memory
As you rise above the crowd
As a stranger in the crowd
Cast all misgivings aside
Caught up in the law of gravity
See it full circle again
And five more following this
Such is bliss shorn no longer
I let my hair grow
Seven horns and seven eyes upon one stone
Expose it I marvel
Through the looking glass
As pilgrims wandering.....

stemming
Stemming
3-4-17
Searching for the moments where you could not resist
My fragile frame enabling one to behold my darkness
Added to new light
Tomorrow morning after a storm shall print worse tomes
War and Peace, Tolstoy
Pleasing just to feel it
The emotion stems from the thought
Two more hours and I'll be on board
Mocker to the One that loved so
Nearly buried beneath the surface
Back into Eldorado for Annie
Idealistic and out of this world uncanny
Put on another long record and presume to press onward
Gathering up all choir novices to sing out....
Clocks Tick
3-4-17
O'er his heart a shallow silence in the studio
But for a moment of listening up for the smaller sounds
Of clocks ticking
For the twenty-four in white robes
And thirty ear lobes
Of mirror balls and strobes
By Your will they exist and were created
And it is nothing to be hated
O, Man among men
Take up tablet and pen
Christian and Cistercian
All will find the way back to it
When we do it....
