Five Books At A Time
written on: 2-7-2010
Hungry but full
Lacking but cool
Taking for granted the washing of the pool
Wasted but whole
Mining for gold but still searching for coal
Trying to read five books at a time
Thinking of a grand
Yet I only have a dollar and a dime
Living as if this were my last breath
Floating between my life and death
I fail, O, how I fail
To choose between the anchor and the sail
Too seriously I take it
As I will fake it and make it...
