1-1-14

sketch
9-17-13
One cannot know unity
When it's all about the me
That always wants to be the one in control
Making my rough sketch of a church across the street
In that I come in from the cold
That has not yet come to town
Where the end of the commandment is charity
As the outcome of the word is love
According to the epistle written to Timothy...

Vile
9-17 -13

O, Lord how I am quite vile
To count myself worthy to dwell with you
For a little while
In contrast quite black
Amongst all that is white
Waiting all day for the falling
Of a beautiful autumn night
Picturing what it will be like
When snowstorms make their way
To cause me to shiver
Giving me much more to yet say
Where much is yet to be inspired by adversity...

Lord Willing
9-17-13

O, will we live to see our Superbowl fifty
O, Lord willing
If he finds it useful and nifty
As a part of this purpose and plan
Using not these words
To bring attention to thyself
Saying these prayers for the edification
Of neighbors I have not names for
O, will we live to see
O, will we find such a way
Beyond what is I and me
O, the dichotomy
Serving as this obstacle to but refine...

Dichotomy
9-18-13

Eliminating opposites unifies them
Of which are essential for all things that consist
According to God's plans
Of hot and cold, rich and poor
Hungry and full
As breezes blow sweet and cool
Seeking my remedy today in First Kings
Reading of my personal Solomon within
Praying for the wisdom
To know how to react
To the situation at hand
Seeking not to be understood
But to be first one to understand...

Up Since Five
9-18-13

I've been up since five
While upon thus grace I nurse and thrive
Giving God thanks to be alive
Where Jason tends to be disposed to study
Oneself to be approved
Working as a scholar and apprentice and gentleman
Hoping to be today a prayer warrior
For those that struggle
Wishing them well in all they read and write
Where I can know my eternal self while embodied
Even in the flesh that is needful...
