This Is My Work, To Enjoy
9-17-13

When the work is done
It is forgotten
Which is why it lasts forever
Given this determination to continue on my mission and endeavor
With my only agenda today to enjoy beauty
And to write these rhymes of the new hope
In skies azure and clear
Holding the faith
To war against all fear
Wherein love will be the answer
In my struggles for those along my path
To the river drifting downstream
By this will and wonder
Of skies devoid of dark clouds and thunder...

Source
9-18-13

Staying with what can never be used up
As grace and love straight from the source
By which I fill again my cup
Doing all things today
As if to my savior
That will have me to recover
From the tremor
Of what it took to get here
Now and today, Lord willing
Given the perfect day to study
To show myself to be approved
And by what is written
Of Solomon within
I am deeply moved...

Object
9-18-13

By my object referral
I get in touch with the instruments
Of such poetic and literary pursuits to plunder
Spoil and costly loots
To the sounds of clarinets and flutes
Hoping that all I write here
Will not be in vain
Where all is vanity
So we might as well enjoy what we see
Around a half lit room
Of diligent studies of the Solomon within
Praying for this wisdom to not be in vain
Where all is vanity
Like the pleasure that will follow the pain
By my object referral
I put to use what cannot be seen
By these racing steeds that hasten
And the track ahead to chasten...

Moderation
9-18-13

As I moderate my volume
On the music at hand
I tend to capture idle vibrations
That help me to come to understand
Where there is no way to happiness
For happiness is the way
In that I quote what I have seen
To observe the light that turns red
And then again green
Where I moderate the volume
Keeping my readings simple
In that I pray without ceasing
And in any state
To be therewith content...

Strength
9-18-13

It is a great strength
To be one to ask, O, how may I serve
Taking for granted how fortunate we are
Where we get more here
Than what one can ever, in truth, deserve
Yes, I am writing a book
O, how about you
I pray for your success
Under skies of blue
O, how we take these things for granted
Thinking not of the changes
Yet to transpire
Where it is a great strength
To admit, O, I don't know....

Presence
9-18-13

Of Avidya and her absence
I love her from a distance
Which is worth a whole lot more
When I don't know her name
Of Avidya and of presence
I find my way with eyes closed
So that I might see
The love in store
For those that choose not to boast
Sharing one's words to but edify
And not to puff up the fleshly mind
Of Avidya and her being
Where the eye is much more than the seeing...
