1-12-14 b

On Hebrews 8:2,3
12-31-13

By the minister of the sanctuary
And of the true tabernacle
Which the Lord pitched and not man
I will do all that I can
Even while my faith is my only plan
By the church which is you all
Things today are fresh and new
By the minister of the sanctuary
And the true tabernacle
That the Lord pitches and not man
For every high priest ordained
To offer gifts and sacrifices
Of necessity
Of want and need...

Made New Again
12-31-13

Obsolete and desuetude
By no means is our thankfulness
For all of our food
Thinking of what is in my cabinets
To get my stomach and palate back in the mood
Right alongside my feline companion
Being as my faithful friend  in Jesus today
Taking my deep drag of my fag
In my own special way
As for the entire neighborhood
I yet intercede and pray
By that which is obsolete and desuetude
Again made new by this gratitude...

Here And Now
12-31-13

Today
O, there is nowhere I need go
Where the action is here and now
Playing an archive from nineteen seventy
Where my calico does her thing
Just because
And the heat pipes cough
From walls of a worthy shelter
To take refuge on new years eve
And if he were here on earth
We would know
But I can be one to say
That he is already here
In the minds of those whom believe
In what one cannot see
For himself, yeah, today
O, there is nowhere I need go...

Firm And Established
12-31-13

By the heterodox and the orthodox
Opposites are as one and the same
In spite of chicken pox
By all established doctrines
In thinking outside the box
Soon to delve yet deeper
Into delicacies divine
By the heterodox and the orthodox
Having ones opinion like an asshole
That everyone of us does have
Stepping out of a hot bath at noon
Where it is not too late
Nor too soon....

idiom: opinions are like assholes, everyone has them...

Your Call
12-31-13

Seven years ago
I take my notes
Stated in the present tense
By all deep sea fishing boats keeping afloat
Clad in my down coat
With its zipper below my waist
Where I have all day to write my heart
And no reason to make haste
Giving up trying to give it up
Because I love the taste
But I can always try to quit again
Where no human being is as chaste
With one more dry week without snowfall
High and dry
Behind my west wall
Where it's my choice
And it's your call....

Refill
12-31-13

By lukewarm tea
Today I am the real me
By the truth set free
Amongst both he and she
Telling me to do it four more times
That will be as fuel to fan the flames
Of twenty-five more rhymes
If the good Lord is willing
By lukewarm tea of a cup refilling
By the integration into my acceptance
Of this real me
Sipping lukewarm tea
And by the truth once more set free
Being one to say out loud
That things can only get better
By the life of Spirit
And the killing of the letter....

Seed Part III
12-31-13

Having today my zeal of God
According to the knowledge
Of which I wish to apply to life
In prayers for my brother
Going off to collage
Sowing the seed
Taking the lead
And filling the need
In remembrance of a night vision
Of distant companions that collaborate
To remember this love and forget how to hate
Where Christ is the end of the law
For righteousness to everyone that believes....

On Hebrews 8:5
12-31-13

Priests as we on earth
Serve as the example
Where knowledge and love in its abundance
Doth yet appear as more than ample
In last night's dreams of rivals
That fill in the gap
With a worthy remnant and sample
As priests as we
Offer what they hold in hands
To be filled again
As shadows of holy things
Making all things
According to what we have seen
Beneath the mountain
Coming back down to see them dance naked
Dropping these tablets of stone
To see that we will never stand alone...

Ministry Of Prayer
12-31-13

Yet to obtain a more excellent ministry of prayer
Sitting in my passionate and zealous chair
Where modified and tamed is the wildness of my facial hair
According to the mediator of a better covenant
With no regrets of cigarettes
Or in money spent
Established upon better promises
To once again pay my rent
For if the first deal to go down were faultless
Then there would be no place sought for another
By this more excellent ministry
Of prayer for my brother...
