Ascetic and mystical Muslim sects
Are to be studied thoroughly
In what comes next
Yet to come to comprehend the sacred text
Where we find our healing
Wherein we might be vexed
Where sweetness follows
That which is bitter
And I will not be as the quitter
Of ascetic and mystical songs of new hope
By the triple knot tied
In our stronger rope
Given again one's sight
To no longer grope
Finding my way in notes already taken
To be one to succeed
Wherein I am mistaken
Blessed beyond measure
And not forsaken....
