Yet to be the ambassador and the diplomat
Content with coffee cold and carbonation flat
Yet to be the witness of the day's events
In a loftier position
Where the man of the house repents
Yet to be the path and the Way
Given the sustenance of much more today I can say
Given the number of perfection
To bring the hope sufficient as the anchor
In being true to the you in me...

Pilate inquires
Just what is the truth in the matter
Of the things that are
That reinforce what is not
When we find that these are one and the same
As we find our white stone
By the way with a new name
As Pilate finds no fault in the Savior
Still on his throne
When today I am by myself
Yet not standing all alone...





Perfect

Jesus was a man one hundred percent perfect
As it is said we cannot come into the world
If we are not from it
This is a truth to learn of when we are just passing through
Accepting yesterday's declining from a proposition
So that I might discover the road ahead
That would lead to my calling
Meeting other wanderers on my path
Of which I was yet to minister to
With the gift and power that is in me...

The secular approach of America
Is as well needful
In our ways to apply to life
Today we are freely given
As the flesh as well is expedient
To the work assigned to the poet
To be the witness of what he hears and sees
As so this humanistic philosophy
Is as well part of the picture and plan
When Jesus was one hundred percent God
As well as man...





Fetid With Favor

That which is noisome and fetid
Is found to be pleasing
To my olfactory sense of appreciation
Where it's not so bad to have a thumb up my ass
When I like the way it smells
She is with me in my being
Of dreams that come true
Of finding the love at both hands
Like a candle I blow out again
To make my wish
For the love to see us all through...
