As to just this we can claim to be in for a treat
Mentioning today these names
Only in a sense that they are biblical
To take once and twice again my poetry seat

For the comfort in the warming of my feet

On Hebrews 12:3
1-10-14

From my open eyes sleep hath brake
Delving deep into this language in its antiquity
For my own poetic and Scriptural best interest and sake
Where I consider he whom hath endured
By the contradiction of sinners
Against himself lest he hath been wearied
As so through closed eyes
Yes, I can yet dream of this....




A This Composition
1-10-14

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood
By which I compose all of such madness
By the flowing of ink
As so when not composed
I can at least stop and think
In the ye hath not yet resisted water that flows
Yet to rest assured today
In that Jesus knows
Despising not the chastening
Seeking not this hastening
To accept the fact of the matter in how it goes
In hopes for another weekend uneventful
Whereof we are partakers in this

Forget Me Not In This

Ye hath forgotten the exhortation
Spoken unto you as to children
As so my coffee gets cold
In that I remember authenticity
To despise not today his chastening
According to what I hate
That I still do
By these recollections
That reinforce all vanity
Being not faint while yet rebuked
In all of this...




This, A Tall Order
1-10-14

One cannot be made as wise in a hurry
In one's welcoming of this January flurry
Back in the here and now to face the music
Wanting my resolution to be to give up worry
A tall order
Like trying to give up smoking
Trying too hard and therefore knowing not my success
To but relinquish what is bound on earth
Giving God thanks today
Even in these conditions
Of that which is this
Yeah, just this....

On Hebrews 12:9
1-10-14

We have fathers of the flesh that correct us
And we give them reverence
Verily for a few days disciplined
Seeking something more than this
A tall order
Yet knowing all things to be as possible
In our God that is always faithful
To which we ought rather be in subjection
By all bearings and balls
We are as servants that he calls
In this, yes just This...

this is what we can see as that is what we cannot according to my new philosophy...
