Ulai

By The River Ulai 5-15-14 In Shushan in the citadel I have many new stories yet to tell In my next book more brief than the last Where I have again my sunshine On a day bleak and overcast In the province of Elam I triumph over death and hell I saw a vision by the river Ulai In no further need to ask why Seeing the ram and his two horns Making friends with gargoyles and unicorns I let my butterfly escape from me today To see if one day she would come back to me Seeing such a ram press westward As well as the goat that would confront him According to this vision written down in heaven..... Greeting 5-15-14 A book like this only takes four or five days to complete In that my chocolate was all today I had to eat Taking my caffeine in excess In that it's Jesus' treat In my gluttony of God's word today I take my seat at a table Where we join them of a crowd we cannot beat Coming out of Syria to profane the temple According to whole wheat As the fourth empire would be divided Drinking this milk to wash down strong meat Juggling today these agendas So that at the front door Another brother I might greet..... My Joy In Sorrow 5-15-14 O, my God I believe O, help my unbelief And give not a foothold to the robber and the thief In singing my heart out by the joy of this grief O, Lord my God I can see That which is of you that dwelleth in what is me Redeemed again in the blood that sets us free O, Lord my Jesus I no longer doubt All that of which such is all about If I'm crazy I'm just crazy about you As Jacob's thigh is out of joint And to myself I will be true...
