Mark 3:8

On Mark 3:8 (Dig this)
9-29-13

Amongst my Sidon and Tyre
By this Holy Spirit so burns my fire
From Idumea where I find it once again
In my garden of higher forms of this pleasure
Found not in my earthly treasure
Abiding above and within
Amongst the church that wars against all fleshly sin
Where Jesus heals a man on the Sabbath
And that man is me
With all freedom and bondage
From which I might be set free
Hoping to cast all cares aside
And to be just the real and true me....

My Deep Drag
9-29-13

In the reform school of mine attachment
I take a deep drag and puff
To hold it there and let it out
Without haste to see
That none of my holy smoke will go to waste
In the reform school of that which we want to come to see
Going back to the elementary dear Watson
My brother in the reform school
Of ones long armed reach
Wherein our suffering doth yet teach
To sink ones broken teeth into the peach
To know all that is sweet to a palate satisfied again on the beach
Like my dream of returning with a pocket full of quarters
Sent forth to preach....

Nonattachment
9-29-13

Without attachment is renunciation
Where altered is ones pronunciation
Finding all that is real within
In a place where all ingratitude is sin
Dedicating my fruits to the God I can know
By simply inclining an ear
To a tree that wants to grow
Shedding leaves of orange red now alive and no longer dead
Without attachment we let all adornment go
Where the wind doth list
As nature doth yet succor and assist....
