Valerian Day
10-1-13
O, what do I do with this
Valerian at six and up since half past four
Going another day without my inward so-called whore
Where emotions either help or hinder
By this valerian buzz just because
Seeing my reflection in shadows in double vision
Up since four-thirty
Where in order to be made clean
One must first be dirty
And let he whom is filthy be filthy still
Where I proceed for good or for ill...
View

Another cigarette mission
Accomplished at the corner of Philadelphia and Queen
Winded from walking two blocks both ways
Where Satan wants me to miss out on the blessing of my view
From an eastward table of adulteries of roving eyes
Subject to the world and its beauty
Where a strong passion will ensure success.....
Tidbit
10-1-13
During the Qing dynasty
Men wore hair in long braids as a sign of loyalty
And cut them off as a sign of rebellion
Where a voice whispers that this page of verse is worth some money
Saved today by my faith
Knowing victory in this valerian high
Where there is more hunger in the world for love
Than there is for bread
Mother Teresa said that
While on this day
I am game for all I see...
