So I got with this and am satisfied with the simple pleasures
Of living outside the east end of town
And I think I'll do it again

What do you have there but a staff and rod
Just blind enough just to be there
Finally feeling that way again
On the eve of more than stuff we anticipate
Close your eyes and make a wish

Provoke them not to wrath
And wake at five to get a bath
Upon rivers and streams
Striking the rod of your dreams
Let my people go
Plowing through the prayer
But consider what does it mean
Seeing our mistress proper and prim
Where it needs not be grievous nor grim
Go home and make it work for you
If thou wilt not let my people go
sending plagues of flies in the form of contaminants and lies
