As books take the shape of "I"
Mark them that cause divisions contrary to doctrine
Saluting one another with an holy kiss
And it was thine to pour
And I feed myself of future tense
With these words for purple pall
To but palliate in lurid gloom
Nice room
For connections that confront
As a succourer of many
And myself as well
With stories to tell
Quite draughty for meed and merited portion
Giving the light of day a chance in stately calm
And holy nights
O, mark the day and go your way....





Minding Pleasure (Linnet)

For meed and merited portion
For our need of telling of ones fortune
Where hungers hover like hummingbirds
The secret now is made manifest for hucksters
That all will pass the test in peddlers of small items
For our printing press in the business of advertising
As do I today
It's something to do
A selfie holding a can of Maxwell House
As dark waves but glitter
And I learn mindfulness all over again
In such a song of bliss hit and miss
For mortal ears to greet
And I don't mind riding in the backseat
Come sharper
Come hawk and shrewd swindler
For scholarly taken erudite
We have this privlilege and right
To but mind the pleasure....
