underbreath

Underbreath
6-20-17

Hugo lives to eighty-three
As far as my notes taken on the subject
Of the English language
For the staff in your hand
Boasting oneself to be someone
As the sanctify the underbreath
To invite life and renounce death
Sailing up a river wide
As the sea god gives man the tongue of the learned
And at the end of four hundred thirty years
The Word continues in language more plain as we can see it
So be it at the festival of fools
The Epiphany in old schools...

Incentive Remains
6-20-17

Looking for books written by Ruth Montgomery
If she still writes for here and hereafter
And all of the spirit voices take heed to what you intend to wish for
As to dominate the impossible to whom a number of men join themselves
Where strange is quite fashionable
Scattered and brought to nought
In our grand circle of existence
On with the day and its resistance
On with the friction
Where life is a circle
Fair as a square...

On Acts 5:36
6-22-17

Beginning again in Exodus chapter thirteen
For good fortune for my Gamaliel
And a setback to bounce back from
And God speaks to Moses as if to a friend
Saying sanctify the firstborn
And consult Elizabeth harped to be made sharper
At the festival of fools
As before rises up Theudas
Boasting himself to be somebody
Could this be a parallel with reputation
And my first tall cup of the day
Lest preadventure I miss the mark
Into the green unknown
Can't forget Milton....
