exfoliate

Exfoliate
12-20-12

Yet to molt and exfoliate the outer covering
To love less in the things we hate
In that one would serve in order to be called great
Yet to shed the scales from ones eyes
To shine light upon the dark
To exhume the lies where all shadow needs to flee
In this presence by which we can know ourselves
By the light of day that we can see behind closed eyes
That search our hearts with all diligence....

Portion
12-20-12

Corn and wheat
Is the portion of that which is available
And then broccoli later on to melt upon it the butter
For further flavoring to embellish and to whitewash such
In order to set the stage for the actors yet to be real
And exactly the way that they are
In all they have to say
In that my pine scented candle burns slowly
So that incense can yet waft into the room
Evoking the memory of last night's dreams
Of getting back to work on it....

No Need Save The Word
12-20-12

Today I have no other need
Save the word and its glory
Shining upon dark areas of this sanctuary of sorts
By which every word written here yet exhorts
With twelve manners of fruits at these twelve gates embroidled
With precious stones of which I have not words to describe
Nor can I try to make such a visible commodity
According to the flesh to be but perceived where we are yet to see strange things
Come tomorrow if the good Lord is willing....
