Don't want to make that twenty dollar mistake again
So I put my money on my music
And my pen holds me up and doesn't let me fall
As we did sojourn on your own call
For the space of many years
And I did partake in part of such
A ministry only to run in again to the wall
Gaining experience learning to reveal our next meal
Where she gives me confidence
And I tell her about it
O, let your heart retain these words
In the dark shapes of what we used to be
As discretion will be life to your soul
Hoping to make the morning last
For quarters in my roll
As to unravel the scroll

Lead me, guide me and walk beside me
As we greet Kahlil and to get ones fill
On the time we still yet but abide
And turn on thread inspirational
Where midlife is a marvelous night vision
Making use of youth's ardor
Taking another five minute timeout
To wash the football in visionaries of vainglory vacated

Love changes everything

And its woolgathering in warmth of half forgotten dreams
Of you in gregarious galleries
She feels like water up to my ankles
