Letters To Titus
10-13-17

Dreaming of walking on coals
Leaning for talking of goals
For the remnant of their seed
May it not be the fate of the world
Come Christ in His kingly chapter
How long should we scribble these snippets
As the lion is the king of beasts
By our bastion where many starve at feasts
In peace and honor rest you here
As we are immured to all of such fear
O, noble Lord and Father speak your best
Of what is sweet
For the elder in his church significance
Written out in letters of red on another black ink day
Of awe and wonder
Here lurks no treason
Cast out from among them
As to bring around the fullness of the gospel
And say what we must in that it all returneth to the dust....

Watchmen
10-13-17

This hath the Father commanded me
To give to their inheritance
A land of bounty
And blessing may be as the time is right
As to pen His words and pray for understanding
Where I weep much in that nobody could bear these scrolls
That after bread Pultowa's Day
At the chime of five I rejoice before the light comes soon
As watchmen lift up their voice
"Is it I?"
To break forth and joy and sing together
As we tell each other what we believe
In the Word and in truth
With love hold that this is the golden age
Of brazen quality compared to what will be
As to return to words written for our learning
Such is the hazard of the die cast
And I am back on earth at last
Where the root of rain has prevailed
O, is there nothing left
Of our base cleft
Selah!

On Revelation 5:9
10-13-17

Mind that cool breeze
And wake up to breathe
In the fumes of fancy
Of faith transcending fate
Where there stood a lamb
As one to pry the door jamb
Hold on tightly and don't let go of my love
Your faith is sufficient by which I know that I am as fortune
Leaving our royal swerve around your slaughterings
Take no land by day and right through five and flood all along the watchtower
To but subscribe to the newsletter of whom we have many things to say
By ambition and his lofty moment
Angel of rash promises
This love won't let me go in ill-considered haste
God knows they got to me on sidestreets
The dream was from God
Even when I cannot tell you what it means
One as worthy to take the scroll and open its seals....
