impartation

Impartation (Within)
3-19-18

O, how do you paint your joys
Or write out all the love for the heavens above
Upstairs to the attic
What will be found?
And so we stand our ground
So with a sigh I wonder the more
As God reveals it to us by Spirit
Come impartation and illumination
We have the mind of Christ
And we have this Spirit indwelling within
Calling upon the whales off the coast of Iceland
It was something I wanted to see for myself
As many questions seem to be a burden
Yet they set my mind free when to get an answer in another book
Breathed from God
You ask what is God to me
And I reply, "Life!"

Where Day Begins With Night
3-19-18

Superintending every single word
Call it a miracle or say it's absurd
As so I ponder
As so I go off and wander
As rain falls slow down on our rues
Have you read of the good news
Blown in that hot summer breeze
But as for now a deep freeze
Putting my pen to parchment
God reveals it to us by His Spirit
And without it the bible is just another book
Eye hath not seen nor ear hath heard
As soon branches grow in green
And I get the Word afresh in fields to toil and thresh
In the process of inspiration
And our want to swim upstream for atonement
And justification and illumination
No new revelation
Where we cannot delve deeper
Where it's the love that binds me....

Back In 82 B.C.
3-19-18

O, study it for more meaning
While on Spirit today I am leaning
In several aspects able to echo these words to Alma
And his words to me
True to the faith
Another gospel reference from A to Z
In the joy of being clean yet filthy still
As the body is a temple and I still defile it
As nations wash their bloodied hands
Of loyalty and history and skies azure
So we hope for gazing into the stars
Where my ego finds me and I see my own face in the sky
I need to do something about it
Like I know I don't want to disentangle
For another equilateral triangle
As Lehi descended....

Exuberant
3-19-18

O, this bleeding heart doth beat too much
In palpitations of exaltation
Wherein the Spirit must do the teaching
Saved to but understand more and more
By the day's first light
Exit night for impartation
To effectively work in you all awry
O, grieve not the Spirit nor quench the miracle
Of no such stench as to cannonize it
Extending throughout eternity so we can hear ourselves
As standing on the threshold
Feeling it friendly when I am there
Falling away again when I can always come back
And in the morning take up the pen for our reward
A summary in voices exuberant
As I go about my day comparing scripture with itself
Another book to take down from the shelf.....
