comrade

Comrade-In-Arms
4-19-18

In the darkwood we celebrate our day of birth
Because it is when we begin mortality
Given assignments on this earth that we find along the way
Just as the wind where it listesth
Between Shem and Mizpah and all peace between Israel and the Amorites
For our comrade-in-arms and a bowl of lucky charms
Beautiful, innocent and laconic
O, servant my twist of fate
They promised me joy on my arrival
In all secretaries of treasuries
And you will find a shelter from your pain
O, hear my cry over ratification as to catalouge our weaknesses
Considering federalism in the exposition and earthbound debate painstaking.....

One Eternal Round
4-19-18

Back in no man's land
At the corner of my captivity and my disease
Figuratively today back on my knees
As His course in one eternal round
And I put on a fresh bath and start my day over again
In that which is holy writ so the words of Christ lead us
As to ebb and flow as much as you need us
Eyeing her ample page
O, if I could conquer it all again
I will christen another pen
O, tyrant of our fields to yet withstand
And I won't let you go
With child with celestial fire
And a new beginning on another pack in village-Hampden
For the assurance of your purpose new that you are given a life
As whaled in agony and I'm dreaming of you while reading Wharton
And waved back.....

There Is A Prayer Of Faith
4-19-18

The Spirit is given to one with the prayer of faith
So I did turn and was called the fugitive
We don't need to learn this way
Even as I have kept my own realistic vows
As silence bleeds south of the border
And we look back and wonder why
Calling our stone Ebenezer at Sunday Times and in divers washings
In all tears and attrition may we return receiving a just recompense
For the throne that is forever better now than never
As fortune's wheel turns to the hour of its loss
As Jesus tastes death for every man
For the gain loving righteousness and hating iniquity
What wood that was time to surrender it over to the post
And do what I love most....
