I Will Go When It Rains
5-16-18
O, barrier we repeat it masterfully
Like a ruby almost as red as my rose
Of country club matter and another blessing on ones plate
A pious platter soon able to commit to one another
As to admit my longing to see a new brother
By the constant type of suffering our illustration
To serve as the main example
Blessed as I wait
Living on the edge of love in combating hate
In sickness and in health in poverty and in wealth
And by the firstborn of their flock
O, Lila love lie la lie
God have me to be a blessing today to many
In a haze of smoky pleasure
So then you knew of our Rock of Ages
Sessions unlimited.....
Covenant Twenty
5-16-18
In conferences with the Abbot
Yet to break another habit
Only wanting sweet fresh air
Carrying ones cross to the other hill
O, Rock of all Ages
I am content with peace and chase not after such enlightenment
When God is love and love is all around
As to mind cool breezes not afraid to care
O, be the light of the mind
Having specific intentions being careful as I go
And mindful what I stand
Choosing the destination wisely
On the other side of life
Sometimes I forgo it where is it a want
But not a need
Loving life with a sensuous passion
For empty bottles lining the edge of precipices unsettled
As featured on channel five
God give me the victory today
In this battle as I ride the ragged road......
A Time To Conserve
5-16-18
Needing more bookshelves and Bulletin boards
But knowing that it will all return to the dust
Today it's survive or bust
In a task as simple as clipping my nails
Upon the hill living and dying with specific intentions
Loving preceding elders younger leading me to fall in love with the gloaming
Ask her about anything on your mind to but mention a rainy day
Every day of the week
O, but mind the coolness for members in good standing
Today with shorter hair in new styles given today the gift of contemplation
Like woolgathering as to witness and to accept at least one more invitation
Still yet undecided for High Country....
Late Start Revisited
5-16-18
O, why need I keep watch when Jesus has it in the palm of his hands
For another truck stop runner inexplicably unsettled
As to be taking up Thomas McGuane all for pleasure and her counterpart of pain
All for ones bushwhacked piano making the flute rock as well now
That we have your attention previous to partaking under wraps faith agreeable
Yet blind to what really matters
Denial, my only way to get through it
Pray for me, brother where it's ninety-nine in the shade
Drinking plenty of water and mercy from the master
Maybe my own late start and lyrics in the shopping cart
All for Chet Poeroy left dazzled
Time to turn off everything else....
