stay put

Hard To Stay Put
5-2-18

It's hard to stay in one place
When I'm dying to begin my day and thank God for my probationary stay
O, hearken my servant
It's going to be another beautiful one
Of the most worth to you
What business have you here so says the enemy
and I refuse to answer for our two horses for the Wessex cup and Silver Blaze
We're with you heart and soul excellent, Watson
As the point struck me so forcibly at our Capleton Stables in black silk cravat
Looking for Desborough in melting books where time has run it's course in me
For the incised wound with characteristic cleanness appreciated
Their relative imperative and our connection.....

Baffled At This Report
5-2-18

O, bring souls unto me
Are the words of today's glad tidings
Almost as bright as today's sun
Coherent in rational context rendered in loose cellophane
Incredibly God smiles for paws like meat pendulums
Shall we begin again of our liquid scribbling
You need not that I mention it in Whitmer and Harris
And fields of incentive in dreams to transcend as the world is ripening
And I see fit to head on out and get some vitamin D
For the worth of souls great in the sight of the Lord today
And many inquire is there another way?
Purely circumstantial trying to think around these jagged rocks of onyx
Holding duplicate keys as sun beams down upon my today manifested
Soon time to get on with it....

Devonshire Sojourns
5-2-18

Sometimes I feel like leaving it alone for awhile
But I keep on pressing onward at the fork of the road
Quaint in Old Devonshire greeting Fitzroy under our stanza's knife
Armed with a heavy stick to shatter the illusion and look for more answers
By our cravat and clever counsel and its duplicate key
Between Simpson and the gypsies some understanding for inflexible blade
I presume a faith that is readymade for the opium brought from London
For a brier root ripe as to be taken up again and hurled away in our box of vestals
And paying up by way of tallow candle and an ounce of Cavendish
That I should let it stand fast against the current
How great will be the joy to inherit....
