dram

Dram
9-13-14

To research my phenograms
To knock back my swig on dryer drams
To partake in upcoming holiday hams
To decline to propositions
And to refuse their scams
As of January of the year of thirteen
I mean what I say
And I say what I mean
As stars point to their signals
Of endlessness I ramble on
In spite of myself
Higher than mine own stature
Rumination cannot add but one cubit
I look to the north
To return to the center
Where I will find myself again...

Right On
9-13-14

To hide from the dark
O, in the arms of wanting
I drift on down the stream
Yet flirting and flaunting
Sticking to my bible plan
Of the book of Daniel to the music of Yes
As one to say, O right on
But not O, I guess
Commanded to return to my blog
For further inspiration
In spite of this beautiful mess
I have lost my sense of direction
In all of this
By another syllable to yet stress
May it be according to the plan of God
And not for my own ambition...

Conscious
9-13-14

I am commanded to come back over here
To write my next rhymes threescore and ten
And to renounce all fear
I must say that a new beginning is near
As so the end of such can wait
Under skies cloudy
That I call clear
It's good to see it in such this way
Switching back to my herbal tea
As a step in the right direction
She says I ought to give myself credit
For all that I accomplished
I am commanded to keep on keeping on
Having been conscious
Since one hour before the dawn...

Down On Queen
9-13-14

Of science, of geometry and of butterflies
So were the first three books I checked out
On my library retreat
Of fabrication of stretching the truth
In one's false witness of such lies
I seem today to be thwarted and sidetracked
By obscurity in our cloudy firmament
With twelve cassettes
In their working for me in all of this
I'm holding on loosely but I don't let go
Of science, of geometry and of butterflies
I conduct my fresh study...

Sunshine, Now
9-13-14

Everyone deserves a little sunshine
On a cloudy day
O, expect your miracle
And you will find your way
Let your mind yet flow downstream
Given something more yet to say
Staying in the here and now
For all upon my heart I will pray
Take the water to the mountain
And be more than just come what may
Allow the sun to shine upon your brow
In that all we need to see and feel
Is what is right now
Where everyone ought to see the light
As so onward I will yet plow...

Rewind
9-13-14

O, sacred river
O, holy tree
O, God so deliver
My soul to yet submerge in the authentic sea
As voices tell me
Just listen and just enjoy it for what it is
Observing a moment of silence
To yet rewind my Yes cassette
That is a part of me
Giving out my blog address to perfect strangers
As one to pass on the torch
In spite of the risk and its dangers
By invitational decision
He invites us to yet come together as one
To yet quadrangulate
On a day when clouds sheathe the sun...
