Areca
6-21-15
For our areca and betel palm cultivator
From its seeds
Another Contemplative Psalm
To suit the readers needs
She had strong rods for the scepters of the that bare rule
Still looking to my plastic gods
That I have acquired in my old school
And her stature was exalted
Among thick branches
It will be short and sweet
By reason of many waters
So are all the sons and daughters
Fruitful and full of the low and high limbs
In no more need for piquette
At least in its literal form
Nor the dharma of our stiletto
I focus on the fish....
Terragon
6-21-15
The excrement bubbles
In which I face up to my troubles
The natural resources are dwindling
And black race horses represent my morning stubbles
With wine, shallots, and terragon
I sip it up until it's gone
My béarnaise sauce recipe
To peddle and pawn
To share in our infancy
So we can grow up to be as a mustard weed
The greatest of all herbs
With present tense being verbs
I will be just what I am
A sauce of butter, vinegar and egg yolks
A little taste for all the other fellow folks
O, Jesus save me...
Shallot Revisited
6-21-15
Shallots related to the onion
Bringing tears of joy
With her divided bulb used in cooking
I'm still standing still and looking
She is plucked up in fury
And cast down to the ground
As all that I could say about it
Was I'll see you around
Astonished and bewildered
And now she is planted in the wilderness
This shall be for my lamentation of joy
As the verses unfold
And your soul suffers the long day
Shallots bitter but O, so sweet
Of eyes yet running of ecstasy
For our Patroller
He is what we have been looking for all along
Shallots related to the onion
A fresh cup soon I will pour...
Reconnoiter
6-21-15
Detailed for reconnaissance
For combat and other special assignments
We are given in the Way
Fellow neighbors sitting out front
For a smoke in my damp morning
And a fire has gone out of a rod of her branches
It's only a matter of time before I can be that blessing to my mother
And now she is planted in the wilderness
According to Israel's privleges
And sin not always synonymous
Yet to reconnoiter, survey, inspect and observe
In that I will receive
Much more than what I deserve.....
Gascon
6-21-15
A native of Gascony
A braggart, a boaster
For almost twenty years
I have lived without a toaster
I tend to leave the bread's end
In no need to pretend
As a former province of southwest France
Come our embrasure our opening in the wall
Of such a fortification
Through which a cannon can be fired
And another pen like a soldier Is hired
A native of Gascony
So travels west to Spain
As I am one of integrity
Willing to bear the rain
Taking time the only way I know
O, speak unto the elders
And say to them are you come to inquire of me
As I live I will not be inquired of
A native of Gascony...
