irreantum

Irreartum
2-1-16

Praying for your joy
Stealing moments by the twilight crescent moon
We still take it all for granted
Pushing the cat off my Schofield bible
I open the book and raise the pen
To reinvent, to ascend
Isaiah chapter thirty-nine
Only eight verses
Our irreantum of many waters
In adventurous times
At that time Merodach-Baladan sends letters....

"Save Me!"
2-1-16

The power to transcend
And to see past the cages
Of the light of the ages
Concerning zeal
I turn back the pages at half past eight
I put in my last load
Previous for my Merodach-Baladan
I will make it through this day
O, what is the sign
All I know is that I am weary
Ready to abide in the vine
Stop here for awhile and watch and pray
For all neighbors
So we may enter the rest from all labors
As the Lord is ready to save me
Such a prayer brief yet profound
Save me!

Expectation (Plaister)
2-1-16

It's easy for you to say
Ascending to the secrets clear to resolve
Let us take a lump of figs
Yes, I see only victory
O, lay it for a plaister upon the boil
By Christ, the object of our expectation
Truth is a simple place here for us all to see
No compromise for the sake of unity
Peace is a word we teach
Our exhortation to be of same mind
O, what saith these men but to mention our state of grace
It will be a good day
Leading the way
Hope is my pay in astounding winter skies
They are from a far country as sure as I am....
