His news is carried for me and you
To put to good use
Now this, he ascended
Initial it with loving care
That he might fill all things
As Christ loves the church
For training and discipline
Clad in the warriors' armor
The warfare of Spirit filled believers
Incline thine ear, O Lord and open thine eyes
And see and hear the words of Sennacherib
Turning our head to stay so satisfied
This morning I don't get too far ahead of myself

There was something I almost forgot
Thankful for a clear path
Redeeming the time
Because the days are wicked

Soon it will be time to venture northwest
Rocking the boat and skinning the goat
Summertime is coming sooner than we think
Given plenty of coffee this morning to drink
Above all taking upon us the shield of faith
For dreams of my childhood roller rink
