ossifrage

Ossifrage
8-19-16

Cruelty knits a snare
Kindness so seems rare
I can feel it in the air
My flesh and skin He hath made old
Surrounding me with gall and travail
His compassions are new every morning
Great is thy faithfulness
Back up at five
This is more like it
Got my seven hours
Why does a living man
Complain for chastisement
Let us life up our hands to the sky
How is gold become dim!
For eagle and ossifrage
Of the consecrated ones
September will be here soon
Our eyes yet failed
For our vain help....

Foxes Walk About
8-19-16

Give me strength to carry on
Redressing the wound at dawn
For Nazarites our consecrated ones
Purer than snow and whiter than milk
As our eyes yet failed for our vain help
Not as an ostrich
To hide my head in the sand
Where emotions create desires
He sits down with holy fears soon to spread
In the dismal shade
With a visage blacker than coal
Come the daughters of Edom in Uz
Not just because
Aliens from the commonwealth
As waning is my buzz
Foxes walk about....

Pull Up A Chair
8-19-16

Lord, renew our days as of old
Can't have peace without chaos
Can't have warmth without cold
Looking for William Hazlitt
A strong passion will ensure success
Where emotions either help or hinder
Regard space and time
The butterfly lands on a brother's hand
Everything is in me
I am the bliss like a wine
Aliens from the commonwealth
Desolate foxes walk upon it
To be our portion
This day of such happy returns
Pull up a chair....
