tracks

Besides The Tracks
5-8-16

Sunshine in my stomach that hungers
It's been my fantasy for crabmeat savoring
That thought sunny and windy this morning
What else is new?
But I determined this
No harm is done
In getting a good head start
For beautiful hues of green
Finally she comes around
A chilly day besides the tracks
Noted by their strings
For out of much affliction
So is this addiction
Turn those tracks between future and past
And soon I will know coffee again at last
For sunshine in my stomach
O, how sinful!

On Acts 17:1
5-11-16

To God's supreme design
I wanted it to be all mine
And out of much affliction
So is this addiction
O, joy, this new pen and notebook
Call me back Asap
And we'll do business
Passing through Amphipolis
Wherever that is you want room for cream
Right, I'll give you a fork in the road
Since the first man stood
God-conquered with his face to heaven upturned
And I am as one learned
I play the drum set in a dream of being among the spurned
To God's supreme design...
