tyger

Tyger
8-16-16

Today a grease monkey
Anointed in the oil of gladness
Little fly, thy summers play
There comes a time when the blind man takes your arm
Somehow on a dream you just want the cup but you don't want to race
By the writing of another ream
If you take it patiently
Yeah, you're all at sea am not I
I fear the wolfish howl
Wake up and smell the coffee trusting and hoping
Rusting and groping
His ears are inclined to our supplication
First forty-three pages are torn out
Tyger burning bright....

Oil Change
8-16-16

Dwell with them in understanding
Living the blues all night long
Vallery, what's the matter
With me I cry, "O, violence and spoil!"
In need of a fresh change of oil
Overwhelmed by my honest engine
To watch for my halting
Not afraid of the heatwave
As another diamond in the rough
Let us seek peace and pursue it
With all creatures
The morning butterfly lands on my hand
A person of uncultivated worth
This much I am today for peace on earth
Of he that loveth life to see good days....

Scarce
8-16-16

Living off almond M&M's
Plenty of protein in coughing up phlegm
Of the righteous one is scarcely saved
Where will the sinner append such as is yes
All of us blessed be the day
When I was born of staunch
Watertight our downplay to yet belittle
One who thinks to own the prize
Making peace with us by wars against us
A six inch battlefield
In the middle of my skull
Scarcely and with difficulty
For foreign objects of their beauty
To take in the view would be my duty.....
