are you ready

Jolly Old Medi (Are You Ready)
10-16-16

Knead to have it tomorrow
Lord willing
For another loin and rake
A wish as Chopin plans
His heroic polonaise for hot peppers and marigolds
To linger on keys of water
To know how to give good gifts to our daughter
She asks what's the lily been teaching you
And I said it was nothing like that
Today start fresh
Back in love again to sow and thresh
By the shower lakeside
And your picture on the road
In a flurry of five pounder
Digging her seafood chowder
Mensiour de la palace
He sneers as to face all of such fury
I pray for joy happy
And do all things as an act of worship
So they say but they don't need to convince me
As a medicinal jolly old Medi....

Head On Down The Roadside
10-16-16

Heartfelt and sincere for heart to melt
And to face my fear
Solacing and reminding
Head on down the roadside
Accepting new challenges joyfully coming to me
My dreams punctual
Enough to call it a new beginning
Come to me
My dreams and fewer breakdowns
To study and honed these streams
It's a new day quite obvious
But they don't need to convince me
Into taking new adventures
True in the larger analysis
Out in the cold again
It's coming our way
Of six brave medicals
I can't go on like this forever
Or can I?
O, smile crazily
Smite and weep for joy awhile
Out in the cold again
It's coming this way....

Bounding Boy
10-16-16

Blessed is the man who hears
I've been telling you for years
To simply face your fears
All that hate me loveth death
And whoso find me loveth the life
We lean on hope to come
Discussions of the histology of Jesus
The sweetest name I know
But do I really know
When soon it is time to go
And give up my last two dollars
I stop while and ask the stranger
Be wise and refuse it not
Wisdom builds her house
And hewn out her seven pillars
O, bounding boy
Ill-bred and unscrupulous
My lad
O, lad to quail
And cower for the ligature
She also furnishes her table
Right here at my love seat
Ranked highest in the kingdom....
