symposium

Second Time Around (Symposium)
11-23-16

Second time around
No angel hither
That's the muse
Overlooking to sea of Galilee
Later in life you might consider it
And find that it is all loving
For love and war God be with times gone
By iron with sunnier clay
Consider the feet of the statue
Having some value
Spin the wheel and roll the dice
Published in my twenty-thirteen journal
In such a way that it doesn't go public
And pre-law night schools
In dreams of returning
Yes, a bottle of cider
One more time for the brilliant ide
All for the symposium may we see....

Draw Another Card
11-28-16

In a story about a search
And to be it all over
And get what I missed on the first go around
To find it and use it, pray for this hard
And draw another card
Yes, I will
The cause has been slandered with libel
When everyone has a different take on the Bible
Speak up for what is right
Touch my lips with your burning ember of coal
Come on and give us a little diddy
Leaving falsehood far behind
He that roves or at least stands upright
Languishing in mediocrity
Given strength to win the battle....
