Panama Helmet
11-4-16
All messed up on daylight savings
Never mind my error for shavings
Look the other way at the sight of what's up
Sitting on the floor yet cautious not to spill the cup
Come our enclosure
Outside the cell of overexposure
Of heaven and hell
For its gaudy colors
As to break the spell
We know this night is ours
By mixed tenses we come to our senses
Of rotten walls but fresh fences
My joy won't you weep
O, hoe are you well
For Panama helmeted
There's the door....
'Tis True
11-4-16
One hour behind
Pay it no mind
Noon on the isthmus
In its stability we find
Reach for the salt and pass the pepper
Wake, sleep and dream
Quake, keep as it might seem true
Wit is nature what oft is thought
Then I rejoice unto where you are
Drive out of here in a brand new car
Maybe a Prius to take one far
Appointed unto men for goodwill of another new pen
Here she is, bluer than before
'Tis true....
Still (Praise Is)
11-4-16
Can't figure out what time it will be
When seductive is the deep
But I know I'll figure it out
By them for a four at a time thing
Of my dance step towards the southern border
As more suitable my one man bar
On grease covered hat
It made sense the he is there
Better thought of as a place that is yet to be
Much fruit in sense beneath that pile of leaves
And style of thieves
O, guile it grieves
As children who remain
In face as still I keep pushing away his Grace
In a metaphor of so much to share
As praise is still....
