Know Thy Country
3-14-18

Soon to inherit more books from a sister in God
Expecting more
Bring your own bag in O'Connell
And these quotes of love and understanding
Lean not unto thine own
And take this river to the sea for cool tombs dug in the grass
I'm ready now to see it and hear this barrel organ
Where time has run its course
Stay put yes, books and more books
I'll need another shelf for this
For Vincent Benet
Got back to home base while you can
Still conceive as to turn the tide away
As the crowd was envy upon the bard of blessedness
Go there again and see it for yourself as received
In gladsomeness
Get it while you can....

Summer Of '98
3-14-18

Spare not and be either cold or hot
The drink of what we've got
In yesterdays of tomorrow
Search my song in the shelter from my pain and pleasure
That in vain was this leisure
Remembering the summer of '98
O where was I and what was I trying to do with my life
In a better place where truth will make you free
And He never lets you down
O, subdue thyself and we stand our ground
Even when I have not much to give
Save these words of exhortation
This book makes strict conformity to just me in heavenly cheer
Steer clear of fear and take heed how you hear...

Forth, Pilgrim
3-14-18

Forth, pilgrim
Forth northeast north
In our Staunchest second helping
As long as you're willing to wait in line
Back at Oxford University
In dreams of academics for satire of spiritualism
Where there is no such thing as a false religion
When all is real so in the meantime I will rejoice
In that this joy is my conscious choice
All of this to be done in faith yet coupling
Never mind these misspellings when all words exists
O, Beast leave thy stall as to wrestle this world with a tired arm
Look up and thank God for it all
And step out into the invigorating chill
Cleansed and set in order
As streams come from far away
God have me to stay in contact
Still beside myself as silence bleeds
Of thy soul as the pioneer.....

I'll Do It Again
3-14-18

I did it before and I will do it again
Going to war to take up a new pen and find a new friend
To keep until the end
Cleansed and set in order
Don't give up my brother
As belonging to a new church of solemnity
And the feeling of the Spirit anew and afresh
As fields to toil and thresh
No names blotted out save those whom refuse in jolly good middle age
And cold winds blow but for a moment a drop of a tear
In a sea a grain of sand
In mine eye suffering no such ravenous wolf to prowl about
While in doubt as love conquers all
For all intercessors
It's what it's all about
And all will come to know the glory
To stuff my skin so full within
All for our qualifications already met.....
