giant

Like A Gentle Giant (Pulling Punches)
3-6-18

There's a time when tides are high
And a rhyme that abides to make time fly
As the clock grows wings two on the head
Two on the tail and two did go to the sky
As I rehearse what has happened
It's right for me on the shores of the Trent
Of condescension through my honest light is bent
Laden with eternal significance
Today I go to where I am sent
My placebo, the first word spoken on this early morn
As it is written love one another
Where Jesus sticketh closer than a brother
Being redeemed becoming as sons
where my haversack weighs tons
In my search for peace of mind
Where the presence of the Spirit
Is gentle like a giant pulling his punches....

By Escaping Fate
3-6-18

Not just to check off a block
Not just to roll away the rock
With eternal significance we open our chakra
And clear the block
Repenting nigh unto death
Where I owe Jesus my only breath
Laden with temporal individuality
Travelling round about through their cities of refuge
Where we ought to say God willing
And make no such promise for good riffs
Scaling acclivities and cliffs
Unless this be the case
I must slow down and capture a steady pace
As He doth snatch me out of everlasting burning
Of things to come
Life has begun
Ezekiel's theme of judgment
And glory stands fast.....
