Don't mean to Cut You Off
3-6-18
Still looking to my shadow
As to embrace another one of my dark sides
Like a polyhedron and rhododundum that still prides
"Are you crazy or something"
O, that dark voice rambles on
Call it the devil or your ego
To be the case that they put off the debt
In selling the oil where Alma receives his strength
Loving to belch up my bubbles
To forget about my troubles
And the coffee server says to take it easy
So I order up decaff
Go and remember your captivity
And how you are emancipated
As magnatised where the grace of God rests nearby
I had a hard time making it along yesterday
And it would be a shame if all drudgery was in vain
Still working on that dream
Of pistachio ice cream....
On Ezekiel 3:9
3-6-18
Guides and spirits all along the path
And no more resentment and wrath
And I cannot just guess or assume
Impudent and hard hearted heated like adamant stone
Soon time to call out to the Lord and make supplication
And purchase today all that I can afford
O, son of man feed your belly
Like honey and sweetness such is the language of love
As he spreads it before me
As to adore and implore me
Moreover son of man eat what you find
But nothing that dieth of itself
Go and get to the captives as to sip a smile
In savor and salinity for sweetness
The Lord is sweet to faith because it is simply this
For that pop quiz
Like adamant stone
You are not alone
For the great thunderous noise
Waiting for skis to clear
God says "Do not fear"....
So I Ate
3-6-18
Let it unfold and step in from the cold
To study it bold
And sometimes I don't like the looks of this
Sitting in my chair of good cheer for our cheribum
Like a cloud on a sunny day and rain under clear skies
Where God gives us our emotions good and bad
In chiming the hours
It must be my burden for the blessing of His beauty
Well worth the price I pay at Tel Abib on the river Chebar
So I ate and the taste was salty and sweet
Bitter but delightful
Painful but in pleasure
Our leisure, talent, time and treasure
Whatever it's message the Word is decadent
Sometimes ill to be quite well
Day after day with much to buy and sell
For we are yet rebellious.....
