My Ozymandias
3-14-18
As I struggle in the rams I snuggle up wit
As spark dreaming on my Ozymandias
Loving words unfamiliar
I suppose I'll never know her
Soon to celebrate my forty-fifth
But I still feel like a little boy in the faith
Trying to care not to cross them
Nor even boss them
Like a salad we toss them
Mother, I cannot find your pots and pans
With twists and prods like devils and gods
Look without seeing for our ore to the south winds
Picking it up today at our mountain tavern
And a two dollar draft
Only in my dreams when you look inward
For our bridge of sighs of hows and whys
For Grecian war and my first gray hair.....
Of When I Was Fearless
3-14-18
In need of more sheaves
As soon bloom in spring leaves
I'll not be worried about the wager
Where I remember the song of the shirt
He said I was going to get hurt
More than things years ago a treat to blurt
Rubaiyat of Omar
She is here and I am yet to take my first steps of faith
For the young ones' hour
Petting the hound of heaven
Singing the song of the Chattahhoche for our Invictus
And today it's all good in what I have to learn about God's love
As your fame went out among the nations
And I ordain thee with bracelets and adorn you with tabrets.....
Recalcitrant
3-14-18
Yet recalcitrant in pining error abiding in the vine
Unregenerate as another shall devour them much obliged to stay awhile
And report to my next class
As to focus on the prince of peace and the princess
Whose love will not cease
Yet recalcitrant another fire doth devour us
It's all poetry to and for and through me
As you become Mine saith the Lord of hosts
And when I get back here again
There are more posts as to portray our living union
Blessing our lives with lovely direction through the atonement
And our resurrection anointing us with the oil of gladness
Soon to witness springtime madness
Yet recalcitrant....
