Downsizing
4-2-16
Watch out for the cabinet and exposed goods
Stale cookies and aged packs of hot cocoa
Rise up and downsize once more
Feeling sickly times at noon
Pulling away from the dying off
It's good that I can't see
Why is this?
A day of trouble and treading down
And perplexity for the armor
Of the House of the Forest
Four places before me to occupy my possessing
Cry out to be incorporated into my work
Guiding walks down to our cul-de-sac
Jesus has got this one.....
County Line Jubilation
4-2-16
I moved with the mob at intermission
I, the thought I conjure
Of you in the dream
I meet you there
At a Willie Nelson concert
You didn't care where, O where
Looking for ten dollars for this here poem
Guiding my walks out
I somehow and by the grace of God manage and cope
Crossing the county line on Mount Zion into Cumberland
I know it was a long way
O, where is Estelle
I know her not
But still make mention of those I'm curious about
He should have married her
But it is what it is
In getting another clean shave
You gave all you had
Why do you want to give more?
Do you still care?
No Matter How Far
4-2-16
No matter how far and how many times
Feed your faith and your doubt will starve to death
Lipstick on your cheek where Mother kissed you
I am not ashamed
John didn't call
Life has been fair today
Come inhabitants of the coastliners
And their can-utility
Shall be the glory of your servants
Residence cool and clear and blue the sunshine
Makes the scene for five minutes
From the land of Cypress
It come to us in disguise
No matter how far.....
