Benedictite
5-21-17
All for Benedictite
We have every right to rant and write
As Senais for our vista
I'll meet you there in the open air
Brooded over the houses on the parapets of the quay
Not as though I had already attained it
As to follow frenetic and fruitious substitutes to swallow
Let it shine
Good night Gabriel
No pressure this evening
Save that what one puts upon oneself
Looking for Gwendolyn Brooks
Awarded Pulitzer Prize
Yet jocund for our triton
Let them chant
For sunshiny underfoot....
Namely
5-21-17
Dull yellow light for an arm on fingertips
A bad and good sign that my heart is still beating
All safe home jocund and sprightly
And for the poetry of Lowell
For surety and guaranty and impudence
Given another compliment
Beware when the world loves you
In the ivy and sunny web of what's in store for today
And the wave of a yet more tender joy
Longing to recall moments in our dance
In much blessed assurance
And another awesome sermon
Godward namely....
