good morning

Good Morning, Gabriel
5-21-17

Using the energy of dismay
To but pray and to say, Hosanna and hooray
For which we also suffer in that we allow it
Written from rivers
If that don't whet your whistle than what will
But love and only love
Time to walk on over and catch the stagecoach
Eating not dry man's bread for nought
Left in Crete for this cause
To see the end is to see the outcome
I wouldn't miss it for the world
As to jangle, as to wrangle
Time to go on all out
Good morning, Gabriel....

Some Swerve
5-22-17

Yellow light broods over The Wall
Played again in Her entirety
For the cause of nostalgia
That won't stand alone left in Crete for this cause
For fables and endless genealogies
The Zebra is my editor
Perhaps as I stir the sugar
For my reason lapse  to jangle and to wrangle
Like a tuft of hair to tangle
As some swerve and turn aside to foolish rambling on
Of vanity in hours as if to see the object
For which a thing exists and its purpose
And its end
We all depend....

"I Will Not Wallow"
5-22-17

Fables and endless genealogies
Minister questions rather than godly edifying
Back in Canaan
Aleph, Beth and Gimel
Followed by the plans of degrees as cool air
Is quite close to our coffee stain on page seven
As a good sign
Paul's son in the faith
Wants to save sinners of whom I am chief
As to blow your way though this disguise
And say not, "Good grief"
For this cause I obtain mercy
And give no place to the thief
As a pattern for all to fold
I cherish every swallow
As I say, "I will not wallow"

For The Lawless
5-22-17

For the lawless and disobedient
The law is made
And in deeper waters I wade
Water up to my waist
And in my mouth a sweet taste
Giving expression to the expansive
Where Spirit prefers even flow
Durst like stains upon my memory
Smoldering
Foolishness and affectionate
As Jesus enables me
To preach by way of poetry
And practice life evangelizing
All for Hymenaeus
As to learn to blaspheme
In intercessions and giving of thanks
To war a good warfare
And keep fighting the good fight...
